When I heard that Jane Iredale was releasing a couple of new shades of eyeshadow, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on them. I’m a huge convert to their mineral powders, so I absolutely jumped at the chance to try out the shadow formulas.

Packaged in a rose gold mirrored compact, the PurePressed Eyeshadow Triples contain all the colours you need to need to create a handful of eye looks. Whether you’re looking for subtle definition or you’re wanting something more dramatic – the triples will see you through!

The first of the triples I tried out was Soft Kiss. Rich plums and a creamy taupe-chocolate shade. It looks quite dramatic in the pan, but the colour is easy to blend out, it’s perfect if you’re looking for a subtler look.

The taupe shade blended into the crease, which a little of the matte pink on the lid looks really beautiful and feminine, and I love using the deeper plum shade as a liner.

My second trio is in the colour way Pink Quartz. It’s a stunning warm-toned collection of shadows which is perfect for days when I want to have a natural, but still pulled together eye look.

Using the shell shade as a bit of a base and highlighter, I use a light dusting of it under my brown bone, and on the inner corners of my eyes, then I dust a little of the chocolate into the crease, making sure to blend it out to a semi-sheer finish (easy because it’s metallic). Then I blend a little of the copper into the lid. I then get my trusty angled brush out to use the chocolate shade as a liner too.

The PurePressed Eye Shadow Triples are a great way to create beautiful eye looks, and they’re so handy, that they’re great for travel too!
