When it comes to hair types, I feel like there are two types of people – the wash everyday-ers and everyone else. I fall squarely into the first category. I might have a lot of hair, but it’s fine and so it gets greasy and limp easily, and going out with second-day hair feels squarely like something other people get to do. So, when a tube of Ouai Haircare’s Dry Shampoo Foam appeared through the letterbox, I was more than a little intrigued.
Most dry shampoos I’ve tried all follow the same format – they’re talcy and static-y and usually leave my hair in more of a mess than I started. Not so with Ouai’s offering. Coming packaged in a super-sleek white tin, the Dry Shampoo Foam basically washes your hair without you having to climb into the shower.
Using the Dry Shampoo Foam couldn’t be easier – using about a ping pong ball sized amount of foam, you just work the foam into your roots for about the minute. It feels quite wet to apply, but it magically gets into hair and really works to eradicate grease and frizz. I love to scrunch a bit of the formula into my hair on mornings when I want to throw my hair into a ponytail and go. It’s absolutely perfect for gym hair too – on days I’ve used it then headed in for a bit of cardio, my hair doesn’t turn into my usual greasy fuzz ball (attractive I know) and instead stays relatively tamed all session!
Ouai Haircare Dry Shampoo Foam is priced at £24 and is available at Panache Beauty here.
