A Hydradermie2 Facial at Claire’s Beauty Salon – Edinburgh’s West End

Over the past few months, I’ve made a point to do more exploring of Edinburgh’s West End. It’s a somewhat under-visited part of the city, despite boasting stunning Georgian architecture and a wealth of independent businesses, so, if you find yourself in Edinburgh, you really should visit!

The last time I was there I felt in need of a little pampering, so I headed across to Claire’s Beauty Salon for one of their fabulous Guinot Hydramermie Facial. A treatment to give skin hydration and get it in tip top condition for summer, it uses a series of Guinot products massaged into the skin using a series of rollers.

This leaves you looking like de-puffed and well rested. While the products get to work, I was treated to an incredible neck and shoulder massage (exactly what I needed after sitting at a desk all week).

The morning I visited, it was cold and rainy, and honestly, I can’t imagine a better spot to hide out. The whole treatment lasted 75 minutes, and I positively floated out of the salon. I’m already planning my return trip!
