When it comes to brushes, I like to keep things as simple as possible. 99% of the time, you’re not going to find me rocking a winged and smokey eye. Instead I like things nice and simple, but as anyone who has even glanced at a NAKED palette knows, it can take a lot of nude shadows to create a perfect natural look! Theres also nothing I hate more than dirtying up 100 brushes before breakfast, so I’ve been loving Miss Gorgeous’ Dry & Wet Makeup Brush Cleaner. In-between shadow choices, I can swirl my eyeshadow brush onto the sponge, and as if by magic it’s clean!
The magic little heart isn’t just for dry brushes. By nature I’m a bit of a clean freak, so I tend to wash my brushes more regularly than other people. I love having immaculate brushes, but I hate how much brush soap I go through. So if I take out the sponge part of the cleaner, add a little soap and warm water and swirl my brushes around. It really quickens up the process, and means I don’t end up burning through my bottles of Dr. Bronners soap (the best thing I’ve found for brushes).
For bigger brushes, I simply work them over the ridges on the Brush Cleaner’s better. It really lets you get deep into brushes, leaving them like-new clean. It’s a genially simple little tool which has been keeping my brushes in tip-top condition. Bonus? It’s super affordable, and comes in three colours!
Miss Gorgeous Dry & Wet Brush Cleaner is priced at £5.99 and is available here.
