Since the temperatures have been climbing up, I’ve been craving a bit of a tan. Not only that, but just over a week ago I headed through to Glasgow to learn about all things bronzing with tan icons St. Tropez. So, this weekend felt like the perfect time to give one of my newest acquisitions a go – the Purity Bronzing Water Foam.
Designed to give the body a natural-looking glow, without staining sheets or smelling biscuity, the Purity range feels like fake tan for people who don’t really like the faff surrounding regular tanners. Using the Purity foam couldn’t be easier. After a good exfoliation in the shower, I applied a few pumps of the foam to one of St. Tropez cleansing mitts (here) then began application from the feet up.
Rather than the usual digestive scent which normally accompany bottled tan, Purity has a light, tropical scent which feels very holiday-appropriate! I’ve been applying it in the evenings, so once it’s dry, I can hop into bed, and let the tan develop overnight (although you can pop clothes on over the top, as it doesn’t stain and develops within four hours). The following morning, it looks like I’ve been away somewhere terribly glamorous, and the upkeep has been minimal too – just a little buffing and moisturising each morning has kept the tan looking natural, and I’m just in love with the natural result!
St.Tropez Tan Self Tan Purity Bronzing Water Mousse is priced at £31 and is available here.
