When it comes to extraneous beauty purchases, facial mists probably top my list. I’ve got whole wardrobe of them which deal with a multitude of problem. Refreshing spritzes for the morning, priming sprays for makeup and even lavender to relax in the evenings. My excuse is that they hydrate without overwhelming skin, and I love how they can make you feel brand new after a hectic day.
One which I hadn’t tried out until now is Glossier’s Soothing Face Mist. One of the brand’s original line up of skincare products, it had always seemed a tad pricy next to their other offerings. That, and I had about another 100 mists to work my way though. So, a few weeks ago, when the newly re-packaged formulas were released right around the time I needed a new Boy Brow (review here) a bottle somehow found its way into my basket.
As expected, it’s an absolutely lovely product to use. Delicately scented with rose petals, the mist is superfine, so if you’re using this on top of makeup, it’s not going to leave you a smeary mess. Instead it just leaves you looking glowy and feeling refreshed. Rosewater, Aloe and Glycerin have all been included for their hydrating properties, and it feels like a real indulgence to use.
Glossier Rosewater Face Spray is priced at £13 and is available here.
