A few days go I arrived home to a parcel sitting at the front door. Inside was a rather glorious selection of Starskin goodies, chocolates, and even a headband. Basically a complete girls’ night in, in a tin.

Starskin make some of my very favourite sheet masks, and since they can be a touch pricier than my go-to Korean masks, I tend to save them for a special occasion. Very kindly, Starskin’s package will see me through a couple of events.

Along with some of their masks, they even popped in a very chic headband for easy masking!

If, like me, you suffer from dry or dehydrated skin, Starskin’s Hydrating Bio-Cellulose Face Masks are the absolute dream. If I’m travelling or staying in a hotel, I tend to tuck one of these in my case, because they leave skin feeling absolutely brand new. After cleansing, I pat my face dry, and then wear the mask for 20-30 mins while I relax. It’s got a cool, almost jelly consistency, and once it comes off, my skin feels super soft and smooth, and it stays hydrated for a good few days afterwards. It’s perfect for travel-weary skin, or if you’re just after a little extra glow!

I’d never tried the Starskin Dreamkiss masks before, but since getting over a bout of the flu, my lips have never felt so dry. So when these arrived, I could wait to give them a go! After giving my lips a good scrub, I placed one (there are two in the pack) of the lip shaped masks onto my lips, and relaxed for 15 minutes. Like the face masks, the Dreamkisses are made of cellulose, and work to moisturise, plump and smooth lips. They also work on any lines you might have around the lips, and they’re a must-have before rocking a statement lip colour!

Last up, but certainly not least are the Eye Catcher Masks. Another pack with two applications inside – I am obsessed with these for combatting tired, puffy eyes. Prior to use, I like to keep these in the fridge for maximum de-puffing. These cellulose masks work to smooth, hydrate and brighten the under-eye area. Again, these are a travel must-have, and they are a perfect for covering up a late night too!
