I’m not sure that there is anything quite like the feeling of having a fresh-from-the-hairdresser blowout. There’s something about the way they get your hair to be both smooth and bouncy that I’ve never quite been able to recreate at home, and it always feels like such a faff playing about with diffusers and a a range of round brushes first thing in the morning.
So, when Revlon sent over their One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer I had high hopes. I’ve just had a few tape extensions put in for a little extra volume, so blow drying my hair in the morning now feels like it takes approximately four times the time it used to, so any help in the morning, is seriously appreciated!
Merging the ideas of a blow dryer and hot brush, Revlon’s brush has a unique oval shape, which means it functions like a paddle brush and a round brush at the same time. It’s a genius! If I’m heading out to an event or work meeting, I use the brush on soaking wet hair, sectioning it off, and blow drying the hair from the bottom layers to the top. The shape of the brush means that sections stay taut as I blow dry them, and they’re super smooth and shiny too!
Thanks to the curved edges I can flick my ends in, keeping them tidy, and adding to the overall bounce factor. When I use the brush on my hair from completely wet, it’s the closest to that hairdresser feel I think I’ve ever achieved. I hardly even need to touch my straighteners once I’m finished as my hair feels so smooth.
With two heat settings to choose from, you can make sure your hair stays healthy, and even on mornings when I’m in a bit of a rush, I had dry my hair using my hairdryer, and finish everything off with the brush. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how easy the brush is to use, and I feel like my hair even feels healthier since I’ve been using it. The brush is also an absolute life saver when it comes to travel. Rather than having to pack multiple tools and brushes – I can just tuck this into my case and I’m good to go!
