Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer

Whether you’re changing up your makeup routine because we’re heading into Spring, or you’d rather not slather on the foundation during the country’s Lock Down period, a tinted moisturiser is your best bet. Laura Mercier’s Tinted Moisturizer feels like it’s the original, and I couldn’t resist treating myself to another tube now that it’s been repackaged. Available in regular and travel sizes, you can choose from 20 shades, and it promises sheer coverage and a dewy finish.

I opted for 2N1 Nude, a warm neutral which is just a shade darker than my natural skin tone, but, since we’re heading into (hopefully) better weather, I wanted to get one which wouldn’t leave my looking too chalky. After moisturising, I apply a light layer using my fingers. The formula absolutely melts into skin, disguising imperfections and neutralising redness.

It smoothes on beautifully, and it works as the perfect base for my Glossier concealer. I finish everything off with a lick of bronzer, and I’m good to go for the day. I’ve been using the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer on days when I want to look and feel a little more ‘done’. It definitely has more coverage than my everyday option (Glossier Skin Tint) but it still looks and feels super natural on the skin. One pro tip, however, is to keep it away from your eyes, it stings really badly if it gets anywhere near them!

The result is a really pretty, natural finish, which lasts all day long. I love how long-lasting it is, and even after a busy day, it looks freshly applied. It also is perfect, if like me, you’ve got dry skin – it keeps everything nicely hydrated and you don’t get that tight feeling at the end of the day.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisurizer is priced at £35 and is available here (UK) and here (US)
