A week or two before lockdown began, I was lucky enough to be invited up to Harvey Nichols’ Forth Floor to grab a coffee and learn about one of the store’s newest beauty brands – Romilly Wilde with brand founder Susie Willis. Formulated with the idea of clean (yet luxurious) beauty at it’s core, it’s a brand to watch, and over the last few weeks, I’ve been lucky enough to enough their incredible Eye Believe Serum, which, like all the products in the brand’s lineup, mixes cutting-edge science with natural plant stem cells.
Completely vegan, cruelty-free and formulated to be as natural as possible, the Eye Believe Serum is a real hard-hitter when it comes to combatting the signs of ageing. With a formula including Schisandra, Sea Chamomile, Chinese Hibiscus and Green Tea, all designed to boost cell metabolism and cell turnover around the delicate eye area, this can help you fake a great night’s sleep in only a couple of minutes!
Since I suffer from puffiness, I’ve been keeping this in the fridge, and it’s the most heavenly treat to use each morning and night. A single ‘click’ provides the perfect dose – which, when mixed with the icy-cold applicator tip, works to brighten and de-puff and soothe the whole eye area. It’s perfect to smooth everything out pre-makeup, and it leaves me looking and feeling wide awake all day long. I’m a little obsessed with how soothing the chilled tip feels to massage the formula in, and, over time, it works to leave skin looking renewed.
I just love how the brand marries the idea of clean and natural skincare, with scientific formulas. The result is a product which not only works wonderfully, but feels like a treat to enjoy too! Edinburgh’s Harvey Nichols is the only spot you can find Romilly Wilde in Scotland, although it is available online, direct from the brand, and it’s everywhere you’d expect in London. I’ve had a sneaky try of a couple of other bits from the brand, and honestly, they’re divine. From a perfume which is just summer in a bottle, to a day cream which leaves your skin feeling like silk, this is most certainly a brand to covet!
