Over the past few weeks, Scotland has had, undoubtedly the best spring for years. Weeks of bright blue skies and soaring temperatures have been blissful to enjoy our allocated walks along the beach and get some much-needed sunshine. The result has been a hint of a tan, and, for the first time in years, I’ve got a smattering of freckles, which I’m very happy about. The one issue is that, before I tan, I go pink, which is where Dr. Jart+’s Cicapair Tiger Grass Camo Drops come in.
A few drops of the Camo Drops, rubbed in after applying my moisturiser are the easiest way to neutralise redness and calm skin. Perfect, if like me, you’re a low-coverage kind of a gal, these drops have SPF 20, so they’re great for using pre-walk, and within only a minute or two of applying, my skin looks and feels much more calm and looks more even. The main ingredient at work is Tiger Grass – an ancient Chinese remedy renowned for its anti-inflammatory and ultra-hydrating properties – perfect for treating sun-stressed skin. After blending the Camo Drops – I just apply my Skin Tint as normal, and I’m good to go! The effects of the drops last all day long – and I love the fact that not only do they nourish your skin, but they protect it too!
Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Camo Drops are priced at £31 and are available here (UK) and here (US)
