Sometimes, when it comes to skincare the original is the best. Case in point? Elizabeth Arden’s iconic 8 Hour Cream. A true cure-all, I can’t really remember not having a tube of this in my beauty stash. It’s one of those products which has 101 uses, and for someone like me, it’s a complete dry-skin saviour!
I use 8 Hour Cream most in the evenings as a weeping hydrating treatment – after cleansing, when my skin needs a little extra TLC, I smooth a thin layer of the stuff all over my face, then let it get to work overnight as a bit of a treatment. In the morning, my skin feels absolutely brand new – super fresh, and hydrated, and it’s perfect for getting rid of any dry skin or irritation.
The 8 Hour Cream is so wonderful and calming, so it’s perfect for treating skin if it’s seen a little too much sun, or if I’ve used products which are a little too much! One a daily basis, you can even brush it through brows, pat (the teeniest) amount onto cheekbones to acts as a highlighter, or you can slather it on lips, as it’s the most hydrating lip balm.
Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream is priced at £28 and is available here (UK) and here (US)
