If there’s one thing I’ve quite liked about lockdown, it’s been the introduction of Zoom product launches. Since I live in Scotland, I’m often missing out on the most incredible-sounding events taking place in London, so being able to clock in to learn about new products and partnerships has been the dream.
One such Zoom was Hiin – a Spanish-owner purveyor of Korean skincare products which has just launched their pop-up at London We were talked through the iconic 12-step routine, and then, very kindly, we were sent a few bits to try for ourselves. One of the standout products I tried was the Papaya-D Sun Cream – a facial sunscreen, which really, we should be using daily.
Since I’ve got sensitive skin, facial sunscreens often break me out – I get really hot and itchy bumps all over, and it’s such a pain when I’m off on holiday, so finding a formula which works for me feels like a complete godsend. The Papaya-D Sun Cream is a lovely, lightweight product, which smooths onto skin (after moisturiser but before makeup) without feeling too heavy or sticky. It’s a great base for makeup, and crucially, it provides an SPF 38 level of protection which is perfect for daily use. If I was abroad somewhere sunny, I’d probably use it as a base level of protection, but considering I’m in Scotland – it’s more than enough.
Papaya D Sunscreen is priced at £14.30 and is available here
