TempleSpa To the Rescue*

I’ve mentioned before that it’s at pretty much exactly this time of year, my skin starts feeling dry and irritable. I’m sure it’s a mix of colder outside temperatures, the heating being on indoors, and (usually) work starts to busy up in the lead up to Christmas. It’s not ideal, as I never feel quite right when it’s not 100%, not to mention it’s uncomfortable too. That’s why I was so excited to receive TempleSpa’s gorgeous new To The Rescue set – a duo of CBD enhanced goodies which are designed to calm and soothe skin as well as leave you feeling like you’re just back from the spa.

Packaged as a skincare duo, the To The Rescue kit has become something of an evening routine. After cleaning, I press a few drops of the Light Relief CBD Skin Booster Oil into clean dry skin. It’s got a light dry-oil kind of consistency, and when pressed in, my skin completely drinks it up. The formula contains hemp, CBD and green mandarin oils to calm stressed skin and to support its recovery process, and it smells absolutely incredible – with a light, fresh, almost citrus scent. My skin can easily become red or ruddy when it gets irritated, so this is a god send for keeping everything under control.

The Stress Not all over CBD balm makes up the other half of the To The Rescue set. A light balm, which you can use everywhere from your head to your toes. It’s not a heavy balm, and it turns to a light oil when heated up in your fingers – I’ve been loving it as a deeply moisturising treatment for stressed-out skin. When I’ve had my eyebrows waxed and tented, I can get a little bit of dry skin where the wax has been, and this is perfect for healing it right up.

The balm is fortified with CBD, and it’s even powerful enough to soothe and treat tired or over-worked muscles. When I get stress-related eczema, my knuckles can get a little achey due to the inflammation, but this really helps to get them feeling back to normal. It’s such a gorgeous duo, and the fact that it comes presented in a gorgeous keepsake tin means that it would also make a perfect gift this Christmas.
