Pixi Beauty Rose Oil Blend*

When it comes to treating my skin, an evening treatment with a rich oil is an absolute must. Naturally I’ve got skin which tends towards the dry side, and it’s easily irritated, so I’m always on the lookout for products which can hydrate and soothe without feeling like it’s too much. A few weeks ago, I headed to Harvey Nichols, for my first post-Corona press event with the gorgeous Pixi Beauty team, and whilst speaking to the fabulous Beauty Global Colour Ambassador Amanda Bell – she told me I had to try the Rose Oil Blend.

Packaged in one of the brand’s gorgeous signature bottles, the Rose Oil Blend has quickly become a firm favourite since it arrived a few weeks back. In the evening, after cleansing, I part a few drops of the oil into my face, paying close attention to the areas which can get the driest. The oil has the perfect consistency – it’s rich enough to feel beautifully nourishing, but not too much so you’re not left with a greasy face. It’s also the perfect consistency for using gua shas too – it’s got a good amount of slip which lets the tools really work to help lymphatic drainage.

On dry skin days, I love patting a few drops of the oil onto dry skin prior to makeup application too. Not only does it give skin an extra dose of moisture, but it leaves a beautiful glow too. The formula is full of great for skin ingredients – as well as Rose, it has Sweet Almond, Rosehip, Jojoba, Pomegranate Seed and Rose Granium oils in there too. It’s an absolute joy for skin which needs a little TLC, and it feels like a facial in a bottle to use.

Pixi Beauty Skintreats Rose Oil Blend is priced at £26 and is available here (UK) and here (US)
