As someone with dry, sensitised skin, the current cold snap we’re experiencing is pretty much a nightmare. Too much time spent outdoors in chilly temperatures leaves skin red and sore, whilst huddling inside with the heating up at full blast can leave my skin feeling parched. So, I’m always on the look out for ways to calm and hydrate my skin, without leaving it feeling overwhelmed.

Katherine Daniels has come to my absolute rescue recently with her gorgeous Rehydrating Concentrate. Designed to rehydrate skin in both the short and long-term, the concentrate even works as a pollution shield, so if you’re out and about in a city, it’s a godsend. I’ve been using it for a little bit now, and have been absolutely loving the results. After cleansing in the shower, I pat my skin dry and use about half a pipette’s worth, smoothing it all over my face and neck. I then lock in the goodness with a rich moisturiser, and carry on with my routine as normal. It leaves skin super soft and nourished, and it stops the 3pm parched feeling I sometimes get at this time of year. The formula is filled with great for skin ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid, Seaweed Extract and Mushroom Extract which firm and moisturise, whilst Chamomile and a Moisturising Complex of Glycerine, Serine, and Trehalose calms the skin.
Katherine Daniels Rehydrating Serum is priced at £45 and is available here.
