When it comes to my lockdown beauty routine, less is most definitely more. On a daily basis, I feel like I’m dressed up if I’m wearing mascara, and the only days when you’ll find me with a full face of makeup on, are when I’ve got Zoom meetings on the calendar. I’m quite enjoying the opportunity to give my skin a rest, and embrace an easy daily routine.

Despite the fact that I’m taking a more casual approach to my daily makeup routine, I always feel 100 times better when I’ve got a little makeup on. This usually boils down to brow gel, a bit of eye liner and bronzer and some lip balm, and Pixi’s new +Rose Lip Nourisher has quickly become a most-reached for product.

Completely vegan, the balm hydrates lips whilst also giving a subtle tint and sheen. It’s exactly what I’ve been needing, as the colour is so pretty and subtle, it’s perfect for casual days and natural makeup looks. With a hydrating rose-infused treatment core, the balm works to soften lips, and thanks to the pretty, sheer texture of the balm, you can even use it as a sheer cream blush if you’re in need of a little pep.
Pixi +Rose Lip Nourisher is priced at £10 and is available +Rose Lip Nourisher (UK)
