When it comes to beauty treatments, my favourites are always an evening spent enjoying a good mask. I make sure to use a cleansing mud formula weekly, but for the past while I’ve been loving hydrating formulas too. So, when Pixi sent over their new Rose Remedy Mask, I couldn’t wait to try it.
One of three options in the lineup (there’s also a rather fabulous Milk and Vitamin C version) the Rose is perfect for skin which needs a little boost. Packaged in a chunky jar, there’s an impressive 300ml of product, and Pixi recommend that you’re generous in your application to really enjoy the full skincare benefits.
The mask itself has a lightweight, jelly consistency which positively melts into skin. Applied after cleansing, you can use it either as a ten minute treatment, or as an overnight mask. Since I’ve got dry skin, I’ve been using it overnight, and honestly, it means I wake up with the softest skin after using this – it’s magic.
First of all, the scent of the mask is absolutely unreal. It’s a real treat to use – from the gorgeous scent through to the cooling texture, it’s quickly become one of my most reached-for products. With Rose, Argan Oil, Cica and Turmeric in the formula, it refreshes and tones skin, and I’ve even started keeping it in the fridge so it’s even more cooling!
