Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil*

Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength Bath Oil

I’m sure I’ve said before, that I’ve reserved Sunday evenings for a bit of a pamper, for as long as I can remember. It gives me a chance to relax, as well as to prepare for the week ahead.

As I let various face masks and potions get to work, I like to pour a bath, light a candle and play some music. It feels like a little escape from real life for an hour or two, and it’s nice just to turn off my phone and get caught up in a good book. Not to mention my skin seriously benefits from all the extra care and attention I can pay to it.

One of my newest, and most indulgent additions to my routine has been Aromatherapy Associates’ gorgeous Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil. Packaged in an absolutely gorgeous glass bottle – I love the screw cap and brushed finish, it looks so pretty in my bathroom, so paired back and elegant!

The Inner Strength scent feels like it was made specially for my Sunday evenings! The scent is a perfectly balanced mix of powerful of Clary Sage, Frankincense and Cardamom which are specially designed to balance your emotions and stimulate the circulation. I love how chilled I feel after a good soak, and I feel like my head is in a great place for starting the week.

To use the Inner Strength Bath & Shower Oil, it couldn’t be easier, I simply run a bath and add a capful (or two) of the oil, then swirl. Since Aromatherapy Associates use such pure essential oils in their products, you do really need just a capful for a full bath. I just love how it scents the entire bathroom with the spa-worthy fragrance!

Aromatherapy Associates Inner Strength is priced at £45 and is available here (UK) and here (US).

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body Wash*

Aromatherapy Associates Revive Shower Gel

I’m not sure about you, but I’m far more productive in the mornings, and over the past few weeks, the early hours have been filled with the most glorious sunlight, meaning early mornings feel almost bearable! To be honest, I do enjoy being up before everyone else – I can get to the gym early, grab my machines of choice, and even get my coffee all before eight in the morning, but, getting myself really wide awake is always a bit of an issue.

So, when Aromatherapy Associates sent over their Revive Body Wash, I knew it was just what I was after to make my mornings even more productive! First off, I adore the super sleek packaging – complete with a pump dispenser. It looks so chic in the shower, and I love the fact that I only need a couple of pumps to really wake myself up!

The formula is wondrously thick and luxurious to use, and I am just obsessed with the scent! It’s so fresh and so clean thanks to the inclusion of bergamot, grapefruit and peppermint, and within a minute or so of using the Body Wash, the entire bathroom smells glorious!

Lush Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub*

If you’re planning on travelling soon, or if you don’t like hoarding a million and one bottles of product in the shower, you need to get down to Lush and grab a few of their Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub Bars. They’ve quickly become something of a cult item in my house, and they are seriously oh-my-god amazing!

First off, I’m obsessed with the fact they they come in dinky little package-free squares which you can just pop into your suitcase or shower depending on where you are! Since I’m manically trying to get my skin summer-ready I went hard-core and brushed the bar upwards on dry skin. It’s surprisingly gentle on skin for something that’s such a great exfoliant, and I love the fact that it feels like it’s nourishing the skin as well as sloughing it off. The feel is down to the mix of sea salt to buff and Cupuacu Butter which are all natural, and are formulated to leave skin feeling incredibly soft.

I’m also absolutely in love with the scent of the Rub Rub Rub body scrub. Lush have included a mix of Jasmine and Orange Flower for their uplifting qualities. It smells amazing, clean, and almost baby powder like, and it has to be the easiest way to exfoliate I’ve come across!

Lush’s Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub is priced at £5.95 and is available here.

Olverum Bath Oil*

I’m not sure about you, but Edinburgh seems to have taken a rather large leap back into winter. It’s been freezing cold, and raining pretty much non-stop since Monday morning. So, in an effort to warm up a little, as well just to give myself a little time to relax, I’ve been enjoying nightly baths using Olverum.

Unlike most bath products which are mostly designed just to smell good, Olverum is the whole package. First off, I love the minimalist bottle which just looks so achingly chic, and the scent of the bath oil is absolutely divine. For a heady, perfectly fragranced bath, you only need a cupful, and I’ve become absolutely addicted to the herbal goodness. The strongest notes are rosemary, eucalyptus and lavender, although as I relax in the bath, bright, citrus-y notes also become more noticeable. It’s an absolute dream to sit soak in. I tend to grab a book (I’m currently devouring The Drowning of Galveston) and give myself a good half hour or so to relax. The scent feels incredibly spa-worthy, and it’s a real to enjoy every night – it also makes me sleep like a baby!

Olverum bath oil is priced at £23.50 and is available here.

MOA Fortifying Bath Potion*

MOA Fortifying Bath Elixir

So, I’m not quite sure where all the good weather went, but at least the colder temperatures mean that I can fully enjoy MOA’s Fortifying Bath Elixir. Packaged in a cardboard tube decorated with the most darling illustrations, the Elixir is perfect if you want to enjoy a good soak!

MOA Fortifying Bath Elixir 1

I’m absolutely obsessed with the Fortifying Bath Potion – the mix of Peppermint, Fennel, and Fir Needle oils feels so restorative to soak in, and I love the overwhelmingly ‘green’ scent. I tend to pour about four cap-fulls into as hot a bath as possible and just lay back and breathe in the steam. It’s like a spa treatment, as I can feel all my muscles relaxing and even my airways feel cleared out. The herbal scent feels really restorative, and once I’m out of the bath, I feel incredibly clear-headed. I also sleep like a baby after using it, so win win!

MOA Fortifying Bath Potion is priced at  £27.50 and will be available soon.
