Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter*

There are some products which feel like they were just made especially for you, and for me, Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Soy Milk & Honey Whipped Body Butter is one of those gems. Packaged in a pleasingly chunky screw top jar, everything about the body butter is just dreamy.

First off, the texture is like absolutely nothing else. It feels light and airy, then, when smoothed on skin, it transforms into a rich, thick cream which my skin just drinks up. If I could use it every morning I would, but since it does take about five minutes to soak in, I tend to treat myself twice a week. A few finger-fulls is more than enough for my arms and legs, and it’s a lovely little ritual to apply, especially after a shave or good exfoliation.

The scent is absolute perfection too – it’s subtly sweet, and feels wonderfully luxuriant to apply. On evenings when I want a bit of a treat, there is nothing nicer than giving my arms and legs a good scrub, massaging a little of the Kiehl’s Whipped Body Butter on, then hopping into bed. Then, in the morning my skin feels so soft and smooth – it’s an absolute miracle worker! It’s also a great little secret for extending a fake tan – it completely eradicates dry knees, elbows and ankles, so it’s easy to fake a flawless glow!

Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Whipped Body Butter is priced at £36.00 and is available here (UK) and here (US)

Bee Good Intensive Hand Repair*

No matter how hard I try, my hands are always rather dry and messy looking. For the past few weeks I’ve been relying on Bee Good’s Intensive Hand Repair in an effort to look a bit more groomed. Packaged in a super easy to use pump top bottle, the bottle is small enough to pop into your handbag, or keep in your bedside table. The formula of the Hand Repair is wonderfully rich and nourishing, so my poor little hands really drink it up! Fortified with Honey, Borage and Echium the cream is the most intensive moisturiser in the Bee Good range, and I’ve noticed such an improvement in both my skin and nails! Where my hands used to feel dry and tight throughout the day, they now feel super soft, and my nails are growing so much faster than before. My nails are also so much stronger than before!

Bee Good Hand Repair is priced at £12 and is available here

Kiehl’s Creme de Corps Whipped Body Butter*

I can’t even tell you how long I’ve been wanting to try Kiehl’s Whipped Body Butter – so when the postman arrived bearing one of the rather generously sized tubs, saying I was delighted was an understatement. What made the surprise even nicer was the fact that the tub is part of the Limited Edition Peter Max Holiday Collection, as is adored with the artist’s signature psychedelic illustrations. If you fancy your own arty tub, you can still get your hands on them in-store (I know the Edinburgh Kiehl’s store still has a couple!)DSC_0546

So, the fact that I had been lusting after the Creme de Corps Whipped Body Butter, and the fact that the tub is just gorgeous, meant I had rather high expectations for the stuff. And I’m glad to say, they were met and wholly surpassed! It might sound odd being so effusive about a moisturizer, but this stuff is holy grail worthy, and I’m not quite sure how I managed along without it!

The tub itself is a generous 226g, and the formula is so rich and nourishing, you only need a couple of finger-fulls of the stuff for your entire body. The butter is rich in Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil to really nourish skin, leaving it incredibly soft and nourished. The Body Butter also smells seriously incredible – the mix of soy milk and honey give a rich, slightly sweet scent which lingers on the skin. It’s the yummiest fragrance, which has a slight almond/coconut feel to it. It’s delicious!

Even more than the gorgeous fragrance or the serious moisturizing properties, I am just in love with the Whipped Body Butter’s Texture. Despite a seriously rich formula, the air whipped consistency means the moisturizer is a complete dream to apply, and my skin just drinks it up! Within a minute or two of application, it’s sunk in, meaning I can get dressed without having to worry about sticky limbs or staining delicate fabrics. My skin feels absolutely amazing after using the butter too! My legs and arms just feel so soft and cared for – I am just in love!

Yardley Rose Cracker*

Yardley Rose Hand Cream Cracker

I can’t believe how close Christmas is getting, and talking to friends, I don’t think I’m the only one! So, since I’m feeling increasing festive I thought I would share one of the first beauty crackers I came across this year – featuring Yardley’s English Rose Hand Cream.

Yardley Rose Hand Cream

I feel like luxury beauty crackers might be taking over from the advent calendars which have been popular for the past couple of years. I think they’re absolutely adorable! They make amazing little gifts or even present add ons – and they don’t even need to be wrapped!

Yardley Rose Hand Cream 1

Yardley’s offering comes complete with a full size tube of their English Rose Hand Cream. I’ve never tried their creams before, but it’s a lovely lightweight formula which I’ve been reaching for during the day. Even though I can sometimes find rose fragrances too heavy, Yardley’s is beautifully light and almost fruity. It’s the perfect way to stop your hands drying out over the winter!

Yardley English Rose Hand Cream Cracker is priced at £4.00 and is available here
