Garnier SkinActive Oil-Infused Micellar Water & Wipes*

Garnier Miceller Skincare

Micellar water has played a major role in my skincare routine for the past couple of years. I love the feeling of super clean skin, so even after cleansing with a foaming formula, I tend to sweep a couple of drops of micellar water on a cotton pad over my face to make sure every trace of grime is gone.

The one issue I tend to have with the micellar waters that I’ve used in the past is that they don’t tend to remove my eye makeup. To really get rid of mascara and liners, I normally have to then turn to eye makeup remover to really make sure I don’t wake up with serious panda eyes.

To solve the problem, Garnier have infused their newest micellar water with oil which cleanses skin incredibly effectively, as well as leaving skin feeling soft and nourished, not greasy.

After cleansing my regular foaming choice (at the moment it’s Clinique) I just drop a couple of shakes of the micellar water onto a cotton pad and swipe over my face. I am obsessed with the scent of this stuff. It’s a super light, almost floral fragrance which smells super high end. It’s a real gem of a product!

If you have the habit of going to bed with your makeup on (no judgement, we’ve all done it). You need to run to Boots to buy a package of Garnier’s SkinActive Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Wipes.

Unlike a lot of wipes I’ve tried, Garnier’s newest doesn’t sting or strip skin. Instead, they effectively cleanse skin of makeup, with the same absolutely gorgeous scent.

Boots currently has the Micellar Water on offer for a teeny £3.99 and the wipes are £1.76.

Glossybox June 2015

It’s Glossybox time again! Seriously, I can’t believe it’s time for a new box already! Time is just flying by, and since we’ve hit June, Glossybox have decided to celebrate the start of summer with a festival themed box, complete with 3 full size products and specially designed metallic tattoos!

These Glossybox Flash Tattoos immediately caught my eye, and how could they not! Everyone including Beyonce has been sporting metallic designs, so I was quite excited to give them a try! Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best luck – most of the design I tried out just kind of wiped off, leaving me with a 1/2 inch chunk of polka dots on the inside of my forearm. They then peeled off when I got out of the shower. Maybe it’s just my skin type, but I hope you have more success than I did!

Essence’s The Gel nail polish called Electriiiiiic. It’s one of three shades included in this months’ boxes, and it’s a really pretty cobalt blue. It’s a beautiful shade, and it applied evenly and opaquely – it’s definitely going to be a summer pedicure choice!

The full-size pack of Halo Facial Wipes is an incredibly convenient addition to my gym bag. I already keep a pack of the brands’ deodorant wipes in there incase I forget anything, so an easy way to cleanse pre and post workout it always needed! The little pack contains 10 wipes, so easily a week-long supply.

The full size tube of Kueshi Anticellulite Booster is a great bottle to have in the run up to the summer holidays! Obviously this isn’t exactly Giselle legs in a bottle, but I’m all for smoothing and moisturising skin so that it looks its best. I’ll be smoothing the cream onto my thighs post shower to keep everything as taut as possible.

Last but not least is the full-size bottle of Monuspa’s Rosewood Facial Mist. I adore facial mists in the summer – I keep them in the fridge for an easy cool downs when it gets hot and sticky, and nothing feels better when poolside! Monuspa also says the spray can be used for setting makeup too, so a super useful product!

Glossybox are priced at £10 (+P&P) and are available here.
