Helly Hansen W Active Headband*

 Helly Hansen Active Headband

I can’t really believe that we’re nearing the end of June, although I am relishing the long nights which mean I have ample time to get out and about to enjoy the golden light.

Helly Hansen Active Headband 1

To keep me looking tidy, and to brighten my otherwise monochromatic workout gear, I’ve been loving Helly Hansen’s W Active Headband in Neon Pink. It looks so bright and fun, and it’s incredibly comfortable to wear. After securing my hair in a high ponytail, I just pop the band on. It’s super stretchy, so it fits my big head comfortably, and thanks to the double straps it stays in place, and keeps all my flyways neat and tidy.

Possibly the best thing about this awesome hairband? It’s only £ 8.00 and it’s available here.

Tie Me London Hair Ties*

If I’m going to be completely honest, on 99% of days, my hair ends up in a ponytail. No matter how much I blow out, straighten, serum and shine spray in the mornings, by around 2pm, I can’t bear my hair whipping around my face any longer.

Tie Me London, is making my afternoon ponytails look way more intentional (and glamorous) thanks to their stunning hair tie bracelet hybrid which is studded with a Swarovski® crystal in a 22 carat casing! The ribbon also means that my hair isn’t left all weirdly kinky, so if I’m in the mood to wear my hair down later on, all my styling hasn’t been in vain!

Thanks to a wardrobe of four colours (black, navy, olive and pink) there is always going to be a hair tie that matches what I’m wearing, and they are such a fun way to keep looking slick and polished throughout the day.

When my hair it down, my Tie Me London looks like a cute ribbon bracelet, and looks adorable when stacked with a pile of bangles. They are also one of my summer must haves – I can’t bear wearing my hair down in the heat, and these Tie Me London ties look so pretty in my hair. The Swarovski® crystal is super sparkly in the sun, and the 22 karat casing feels incredibly luxe!

Tie Me London hair ties cost £10.00 each and are available here.

Harvey Nichols Summer Sale

Victoria, Victoria Beckham at Harvey Nichols - Candy pink ruffle mini dr...

Victoria Beckham dress was £855 now £427.50

In my family there’s a bit of a running joke that the Harvey Nichols sale falls in the same week as my birthday every year. It’s rather beneficial as I can point clueless relatives in the direction of the shoe department and it always ends well.

Vince at Harvey Nichols - Allison almond leather mules - WAS £315 - NOW ...

Vince mules were £315 now £157.50

Harvey Nichols sales are always my favourites – they don’t mess around with 10% off, instead the discounts are insane, and you can pick up pieces you’ve been drooling over for a serious saving.

Sophia Webster Exclusive at Harvey Nichols - Lola Gem bright pink satin ...

Sophia Webster pumps were £340 now £170

So, if you’re near a store, or a computer, log onto Harvey Nichols and treat yourself!

Father’s Day Gift Guide: Clothes Edit

SS-CL-CLSQ-MAL-2

If you feel like your dad needs a bit of an image overhaul, Father’s Day is a rather sneaky way to update his closet without a hint of suspicion. Genius, don’t you think?! Cufflinks are a sure fire way to earn easy brownie points, and I’m in love with these ones from Monica Vinader. They cost £155 and are available here.

BUTTON DOWN SHIRT ETHAN

If your dad’s wardrobe is in need of a little modernisation, I’m a big fan of this stunning chambray shirt from Citizens of Humanity. It feels beautifully soft, and he will be able to wear it with everything from chinos to Nantucket Reds. It would also look rather snazzy under a beloved blazer – the shirt is priced at £295 and is available here.

SUEDE LOAFER BURG

Possibly my favourite of my clothing edit are these stunning velvet slippers from Penelope Chilvers. The rich burgundy colour is super luxe, and these will look as good now as they will in the winter. The slippers cost £245 and are available here. Penelope Chilvers also make the most divine women’s shoes too – so it would be silly not to treat yourself too!

Royal Ascot Collective

One of the summer’s most glamorous events has to be the Royal Meeting which is held in the third week in June at Royal Ascot. Every year I adore looking at the hats and outfits that attendants have chosen to wear, as they can be the most heavenly chic creations!

To celebrate the glitz and glamour of the races, Royal Ascot has partnered with six of the UK’s most fabulous milliners to create the collection which features a wardrobe of hats which are beyond amazing! Normally I’m not really a hat person – to be honest, I’ve not really attended too many events which require them, but the Royal Ascot Collective makes me wish I was heading down to the races this month!

I’m not even going to try and pick a favourite from the six on offer – they run the gamut from classically chic all the way through to wonderfully avant-garde, and I so wish I could pull off this nautical number from Stephen Jones! The subtle colour palette of the hats is a perfect contrast to the stunning details, and I think they would be just beautiful paired with a simple dress and killer heels!

All six of the pieces on offer are completely timeless, and are the perfect celebration of the glamour of the races! I definitely think that they will become archive pieces in the future!
