If you find that your agendas are empty on Wednesday 18th September, I would high-tail it your nearest Space NK and buy a ticket for their Autumn Beauty Event. Entry is £15, but is redeemable, and if you splash out £150 or more at the event you will be presented with one of the most luxurious goody bags out there. Filled to the brim with £260 worth of niceties, this is worth the trip!
If you’re anything like me, you need a hundred makeup bags – one for the car, one for my purse, one for my gym bag, an overnight one … you get the idea. (more…)
If you’re anything like me, going to bed with a full face of makeup on is not even an option, but if I’ve gotten a little too comfy, or if I want to freshen up pre and post gym – I have been reaching for Alba Botanica’s Hawaiian 3-in-1 Towelletes. (more…)
If you follow the behind the scenes coverage of the Met Gala, it will probably look familiar – Anna Wintour, Sienna Miller and Andre Leon Tally are just a few of the guests who get ready for the ball there. The hotel is definitely my choice of city hotels – the decor is just the right side of eclectic, the staff are so polite and courteous, and the location cannot be beaten! When we are there, we always choose a Madison King, the rooms are huge, and the beds and insanely comfortable! Not only this, but I am just obsessed with their bathrooms.
This hotel is genuinely the only place in the world where a striped marble floor and turquoise cabinets look so chic!
You can see why I can just spend hours in the bathroom – a wonderfully roomy shower.
The baths are ridiculously big – you can splash splash like a child again.
The little black square in the mirror is my guilty pleasure – a television, which means I can indulge in my addiction of Million Dollar Listing all from the comfort of my bubble bath – bliss!
What I love about the hotel is the attention to details, from this adorable Kodak in the mini-bar to the Laduree macarons at turn-down, The Mark is just one of those hotels you want to hole up in forever – handy since apartments are available to buy!
The hotel also includes a great little bar as well as a wonderful restaurant and a very handily placed Frederik Fekkai Salon. As a bonus, the hotel regularly hosts fashion shoots, so you never know who you might bump into!

If you’re considering a stay in the city, I can’t imagine anywhere else which would be better!

For me, traveling is always the time to revert to old faithfuls and try out new brands and products – and Cargo’s Jet Lag Concealer falls into the latter category. (more…)
I’m going to go out on a limb and say I’m not the only one who struggles with early mornings. (more…)
I feel awful about how long it’s been since I last posted, but I was in New York, and just had no time at all to sit down and edit photos, write etc, so I thought I would do a little recap. (more…)
The UK has been enjoying what can only be called a heatwave. (more…)
This weekend might be the entirety of the British Summer, so I thought I would share my favourite sunglasses – Chanel’s 2013 pearl offerings. (more…)
