If you’re planning on travelling soon, or if you don’t like hoarding a million and one bottles of product in the shower, you need to get down to Lush and grab a few of their Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub Bars. They’ve quickly become something of a cult item in my house, and they are seriously oh-my-god amazing!

First off, I’m obsessed with the fact they they come in dinky little package-free squares which you can just pop into your suitcase or shower depending on where you are! Since I’m manically trying to get my skin summer-ready I went hard-core and brushed the bar upwards on dry skin. It’s surprisingly gentle on skin for something that’s such a great exfoliant, and I love the fact that it feels like it’s nourishing the skin as well as sloughing it off. The feel is down to the mix of sea salt to buff and Cupuacu Butter which are all natural, and are formulated to leave skin feeling incredibly soft.

I’m also absolutely in love with the scent of the Rub Rub Rub body scrub. Lush have included a mix of Jasmine and Orange Flower for their uplifting qualities. It smells amazing, clean, and almost baby powder like, and it has to be the easiest way to exfoliate I’ve come across!

Lush’s Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub is priced at £5.95 and is available here.

Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done

The whole ethos behind Urban Decay’s summer 2016 line is having perfect glowing, beachy skin, and all their products make getting it super easy! One of the stand outs from the line has to be the One & Done Hybrid Complexion Perfector.

Urban Decay Naked Skin One & Done 1

The One & Done is a real multi use gem, which lets you really customise your makeup look! If you’re having a good skin day, or fancy sporting a more natural, weekend, a pump of One & Done is all you need in exchange for your typical primer and foundation. The lightweight formula just melts into skin, leaving it looking perfected.

Obviously One & Done is pretty light on coverage, so if you’re looking for something a little heavier, you can still enjoy the benefits by using it as something of a primer. The way to smoothes skin, leaving a subtle radiance is a beautiful base for any makeup look! It’s also available in six skin tones which means it should be super easy to find your perfect match!

John Lewis has One & Done on offer for £22.50 here (UK) and here (US)

When it comes to my favourite scents, citrus notes are pretty much numbers one, two and three. I love smelling all zesty and fresh, especially in warmer weather, when I just want to feel shower-fresh at all times. Unfortunately though, it’s sometimes hard to find super rich and nourishing body creams which smell super fresh as well as provide a serious dose of moisture.

Thankfully though, Monu have come to the rescue with their dreamy Enriched Body Cream. Packaged in a super simple (and rather generous) tub, I’ve been using a few finger-fulls of the cream every morning and night, and my skin has never felt smoother!

As well as smelling incredible, thanks to orange, lemon and geranium oils, the formula has the most incredible list of ingredients. Marine collagen smoothes and firms skin whilst Cocoa Butter is included for it’s moisturising properties. In addition to this, Chamomile and Liquorice smooth skin and Vitamins A, E and B5 are all included to balance, moisturise and smooth. If you’re looking to get your skin summer ready, you need to check this out!

Monu Enriched Body Cream is priced at £24.00 and is available here.

I’m all about having super natural glowing skin, especially now that we’re getting closer to the summer. So, you might think I’m crazy for getting excited over a powder, but Kiko have just released their brand new Matte Fusion Powder.

Packaged in a super sleek silver compact which holds both the powder and a latex sponge, The Matte Fusion is everything you need for perfect, airbrushed looking skin.

Stamped with a double Kiko K, the Matte Fusion Powder is super finely milled perfection. If I want to set my makeup so it stays in place all day, I sweep a super light dusting of the powder over my forehead cheeks and nose.

It works so well to combat greasy looking shine without leaving skin looking too heavy or cake-y. Obviously skin does tend to get shinier in the summer, so this is crucial for looking cool and collected throughout the season.

Even applied over a full face of makeup, Kiko’s Matte Fusion Powder never feels too heavy or powdery. Instead it gives skin a beautiful glow and just erases the excess sheen. It’s also available in six shades, so every skin-tone will be able to find a match.

Kiko Matte Fusion Powder is priced at £12.90 and is available here.

Lancome Juicy Shaker Boom Meringue

So I guess that it’s fair to say that I’ve developed something of a collection of Lancome Juicy Shakers, because when I popped into Boots a few weeks ago, I just couldn’t resist treating myself to my fourth shade – Boom Meringue.

Lancome Juicy Shaker Boom Meringue 1

A beautiful candy pink in the bottle, Boom Meringue is the absolute perfect shade for giving lips a touch of natural looking colour and shine, and I’ve been using it pretty much non stop since I grabbed it! Like all of the Juicy Shakers that I’ve tried, the formula is perfection, it feels like a light oil on the lips – nourishing and not too slippery, and it leaves lips with the perfect amount of subtle sheen. The scent is incredible, it’s a super sweet almost vanilla which manages to not be sickly, and everyone I’ve shown it to loves it! The baby pink colour is just so pretty too! I love it for balancing out a heavier eye makeup look, or if I just want to look naturally polished. My one issue might be that it doesn’t stay on the lips for too long, but when application is as fun as it is with Juicy Shakers, I don’t even mind!

Lancome’s new Boom Meringue Juicy Shaker is priced at £18.00 and is available here (UK) and here (US).
