I’m in no way Irish – but I am in love with Lily Pulitzer’s illustration for the most adult of holidays – for me it really shoes how it is the start off spring. View Post

If you are in London at any point between 16th March and 14th April I would strongly suggest you run (don’t walk) to Harrods. As if the store isn’t perfect enough View Post
I’m in dire need of having my hair done – my roots are really horrific – which means ponytails are currently my hairstyle of choice. High and bouncy, low and sleek, and everything in between are keeping me sane until my appointment (I am literally counting the days). So that my hair isn’t the complete bain of my life, I like them tidy – which is where Semisumo comes in.
I haven’t used pomade before, but with a couple of wispy layers at the front, I felt I needed to keep them under control. Once my hair is up, I simply put a teeny tiny amount onto my fingertips, rub them together, and smooth them over my crown. Hello to a tidy and shiny do!
The pomade feels more like a balm than I was expecting, and there is no stickiness -at all. Instead all you get is your hair sitting perfectly in place, with the added bonus of shine and a killer scent. I can imagine that this would be an incredible product if you have short, styled hair, but I am loving it despite my hair reaching past my shoulders. I have been using this everyday, and I have barely made a dent in it!
Semisumo is priced at £21.50 US readers can find it here
