No Bump Bobbles*

No Bump Bobbles

Over the past couple of years, I’ve become rather obsessed with hair ribbons. I just love that they don’t turn your hair into a bumpy mess when you throw it into a ponytail, and I think they look so cute when the match your outfits. Even if I’m just running out for a Starbucks, wearing a co-ordinated hair ribbon makes me feel more pulled together!

When I was doing a little online Christmas shopping, I stubbled across The No Bump Bobble, who make the hair ribbons in a rainbow of shades, and even have ones which are Frozen and One Direction themed!

I chose a selection of brights, with a glittery white one thrown in since it’s Christmas. They arrived in a couple of days, and I am just in love with them! I’ve never seen glittery neon ones before, and the bobbles are just so pretty. Even better, they are super cheap, and the website has every colour and shade you can imagine!

No Bump Bobbles cost from 60p each and are available here.

Argan Secret Shada Souffle*

I have to admit, I put my hair through a lot – I have it highlighted, I wash it everyday and I straighten it too. I have to be honest, it’s not ideal, so I’ve been finding ways to keep everything feeling soft and looking shiny. The latest product in my quest for healthy hair is Argan Secrets’ Shada Souffle, a soft foam which gives hair a little hold as well as shine. Once I’ve washed and conditioned my hair, I evenly distribute a couple of pumps throughout the ends and then roughly blow dry. Once my hair is about 3/4 dry, I divide my hair and wind it into two tight buns (not the most attractive look in the world) and then blast the buns with my dryer. After a few minutes I can then unwind my hair and brush through a little, and I’ve got beachy waves which have taken almost zero effort! The foam helps keep the waves in place, and it has the most perfect amount of hold with none of the dreaded crunch!

The Souffle costs £12.95 and is available from Sally’s.
