I think it’s pretty fair to say I’ve got a bit of a crush on Bobbi Brown cosmetics at the moment – I can’t get enough of the gorgeous skincare, and their makeup is always flawless. So, when I found out yesterday that there is just the cutest little line of makeup right in time for Valentines, you can imagine how excited I got!

The Red & Pink Collection comprises of a lipstick, gloss and nail polish in both shades, so basically everything you need to get glamorous on date night! I’ve got my eye on the Pink Lily lip gloss, as it looks like the perfect sheer candy shade.

Bobbi Brown might be a brand that’s best known for creating beautiful makeup which makes you look like yourself on your best day, but what you might not know is, they also have a rather impressive skincare line which creates the perfect canvas for their beauty looks!

Including everything from cleansers, toners and moisturizers to perfumes, the newest additions to the line up is this trio of face masks which promise to detox, nourish and boost skin’s radiance. The fact that you can pick and choose the masks best suited to your skin type is so handy, and if you want to treat yourself to all three (and you will) you can really focus the masks on your problem areas. Rather handily, to let you see what works best for you, the trio is available in dinky sample sizes for a rather affordable £10!

The Instant Detox Mask is a complete must-have if you have oily or congested skin. I’ve been adding this to my Sunday at-home spa evenings to really clear out my skin before the week begins, and I’m rather fond of it!

With a formula rich in minerals, it’s far more than your average clay face mask. Instead, ingredients like  to ensure Hawaiian Sea Water and Amazonian White Clay, fuse together to help extract dirt and oil from pores, whilst the Sea Salt cleanses, nourishes and balances skin, without leaving it feeling stripped or dry.

The Radiance Boost mask is basically all of my exfoliation dreams combined into one chic little white tube. Unlike the much maligned microbeads which have just been outlawed in the US, this mask uses superfine walnut grains to slough away dead skin.

With the grains held in a super-nourishing Algae-infused formula, the mask really gets rid of any winter dryness, leaving skin feeling soft and radiant. I’ve been using the mask around twice a week, and am loving the results!

Last up is the Skin Nourish Mask which is packaged in the most beautiful pink tube. I’ve been using this mask at night instead of my regular pm moisturizer, and I’ve been seriously bowled over by the results. Unlike the other two masks, Skin Nourish is all about treating and hydrating skin. The lightweight formula sinks easily into skin, with ingredients such as Coral Grass, Hydro Herb and Salicornia which lock in and regulate moisture levels, as well as plumping, smoothing and nourishing the complexion. It’s the perfect choice if you feel like your constantly getting dry skin from things like central heating and being outside in the cold!

The full sized masks are currently available exclusively here

Bobbi Brown Powder Blush – Pale Pink*

I’m not sure about you, but I feel like I haven’t seen the sun in forever. Scotland has been perpetually grey and cloudy (not to mention rather damp and cold) for weeks. As a result, I feel like my complexion could do with a serious dose of pop. Thankfully, Bobbi Brown has come to my rescue with her gorgeous Powder Blush in Pale Pink.

The blush itself is one of those products I’ve loved for years – my mother has kept a pan of the colour in her makeup collection for as long as I can remember, so getting my own is a bit of a thrill!

In the pan, the Powder Blush certainly looks bright! Pale Pink is a stunning blue-toned pink which adds the perfect amount of colour to my cheeks. A quick swipe of the blush over the apples of my cheeks gives an incredibly natural flush, which looks perfectly subtle, despite how bright the formula appears.

The formula of the blush itself is sheer perfection. You only need the tiniest swirl to give cheeks the perfect glow, and it never looks powdery or cakey. Instead it just lights up the skin with the most natural looking colour you can imagine! I think this colour would really suit all skin tones, and I’ve not stopped using it since it arrived!

Bobbi Brown Powder Blush in Pale Pink is priced at £19.50 and is available here.

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Palette*

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Palette

When I was in Jenners a couple of weeks ago, enjoying my Bobbi Brown makeup lesson (you can read about it here), I got to play around with some of the brand’s limited edition goodies which have been released just in time for Christmas.

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Palette 1

I couldn’t resist the Sterling Nights palette, which contains nine of the most gorgeous neutral shades you could imagine. Packaged in a beautifully weighted black compact, it’s a real stand-out product!

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Palette 3

The shadows are inspired by star-studded skies, and range in textures from creamy mattes to rich, sparkle infused shades which glisten on the eyes. I just adore the range of cool toned neutrals, which make achieving a smoky eye incredibly easy.

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Palette 4

For day, I like to mix the soft taupe shades (middle left and top middle) and line my eyes with the shimmery chocolate brown (middle right side). It gives eyes the perfect amount of definition without looking overdone, and the shadow textures are just perfection. Then, if I want a more intense look, all I need to do is add a little of the darker shades.

Bobbi Brown Sterling Nights Palette 2

I absolutely adore all the shadows in the palette, but if I had to choose a favourite, I think it would be the bottom left shade Midnight Sparkle. It’s a deep charcoal which has been shot through with plum glitter, and it’s just such an unusual shade, and it’s incredibly pretty on the eye. For a more dramatic evening look, I’ve been using Midnight Sparkle as a liner, then finishing the look with lashings of mascara.

Bobbi Brown’s Sterling Nights Palette is priced at £59.00 and is available here (UK) and here (US)

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color – Orange*

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color Orange

Ok, so it’s not news that Mondays are pretty dull, so I thought I would brighten up the dullest day of the week with Bobbi Brown’s new Sheer Lip Color in Orange.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lipstick Orange

This lipstick is part of the new Hot Nudes Collection which is a new release for summer. It’s inspired by Florida, the home state of spokesmodel Kate Upton, so the whole collection is filled with the most stunning pinks, oranges and corals.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color Orange 1

In the tube, the Sheer Lip Color in Orange looks seriously pigmented, but thankfully when applied, the formula is absolutely perfect! I can slick the lipstick on straight from the bullet without having to worry about using a lip brush or smearing the colour everywhere! The Sheer Lip Colors feel like a balm to apply, but have a stunning pop of glossy colour which is just perfect for Spring and Summer!

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color Oranges 3

Rather than looking like a true orange, I would say that the Orange Sheer Lip Color wears more like a bright, warm-toned coral. I love wearing it with a natural, bronzed base and defined brows. It feels like a nice change from my usual pinks and nudes, and I’ve received so many compliments and comments when I’ve worn it.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color Orange 2

If, like me, you normally only wear neutrals, this is such a fun and pretty way of expanding your lipstick collection. Since it’s Bobbi Brown, you know it is going to be incredibly flattering to wear, and I think the formula is just dreamy – I had over 4 hours of glossy colour which faded to a pretty stain.

Bobbi Brown Sheer Lip Color in Orange is priced at £19.50 and is available here (UK) and here (US). (But hurry, it’s a limited edition!)
