Clarins Everlasting Foundation+*

Clarins Everlasting+ Foundation

New for Spring, Clarins are releasing their new Everlasting Foundation+ which is perfect if you’re after a base which is both flattering, as well as incredibly long wearing.

Clarins Everlasting+ Foundation 1

Honestly, this is one incredible foundation! The formula has been developed to provide a matte, luminous finish which stays looking fresh and flawless for up to 18 hours! After cleansing and moisturising, I apply a little of the Everlasting Foundation+ with my Dior Beauty Blender (read about it here) concentrating on my nose and chin and any areas of redness or blemishes. The foundation completely melts into my skin, and it blurs away any imperfections. It’s also a great choice if my skin isn’t looking or feeling its best as unlike a lot of my other foundations, this is pretty much full coverage. Don’t let that scare you though, because once it’s on, it looks incredibly natural. The formulation of the foundation also means I don’t even need to bother with a primer!

Clarins Everlasting + Foundation 2

Packaged in a chic brushed glass bottle with metallic golden lid, this feels like an incredibly grown up makeup choice. Even though the formula lasts and lasts, it never feels drying on the skin. Bamboo powder in the formula works throughout the day to absorb any of your skins excess sebum, so you stay looking picture perfect. The range also includes 19 different shades, so no matter or how pale or how dark you are, there should be a colour to suit!

Clarins’ Everlasting Foundation+ costs £27.50 and is available here.

Clarins True Radiance Foundation*

Clarins True Radiance Foundation

Ok, I know I’ve been going on and on about Clarins’ Autumn 2014 collection, but it’s seriously my complete favorite! I’m obsessed with the idea of ‘ladylike’ makeup, and it’s just filled with the most perfect neutral shades. It really is a collection to check out for an updated everyday look!

Clarins True Radiance Foundation-2

Even though I’ve not looked at a foundation since June, I know that as we get into autumn and winter I’m going to be looking for a new base, and Clarins’ True Radiance foundation will be it! It’s a rerelease of an old Clarins favorite, and although I’m not sure how long it’s been since it was available, I know a huge number of people will have a sigh of release to see that it’s back on the shelves.

The foundation has a lovely light, liquid texture, which completely melts into the skin. It has a subtle, almost parma-violets like scent which disappears into the skin, and it also has the all-important SPF 15. I apply it using my beauty blender sponge (see here) and it gives the illusion of perfect velvety skin. Even used without a primer, it wears for close to 12 hours on me, and it keeps my skin feeling hydrated the whole time. I don’t get shiny with it, and it doesn’t oxidize into a different colour either! The range will comprise of 10 shades, so most will be able to find their HG foundation!

The foundation will be launched this month, and costs £27
