New for Spring, Clarins are releasing their new Everlasting Foundation+ which is perfect if you’re after a base which is both flattering, as well as incredibly long wearing.
Honestly, this is one incredible foundation! The formula has been developed to provide a matte, luminous finish which stays looking fresh and flawless for up to 18 hours! After cleansing and moisturising, I apply a little of the Everlasting Foundation+ with my Dior Beauty Blender (read about it here) concentrating on my nose and chin and any areas of redness or blemishes. The foundation completely melts into my skin, and it blurs away any imperfections. It’s also a great choice if my skin isn’t looking or feeling its best as unlike a lot of my other foundations, this is pretty much full coverage. Don’t let that scare you though, because once it’s on, it looks incredibly natural. The formulation of the foundation also means I don’t even need to bother with a primer!
Packaged in a chic brushed glass bottle with metallic golden lid, this feels like an incredibly grown up makeup choice. Even though the formula lasts and lasts, it never feels drying on the skin. Bamboo powder in the formula works throughout the day to absorb any of your skins excess sebum, so you stay looking picture perfect. The range also includes 19 different shades, so no matter or how pale or how dark you are, there should be a colour to suit!
Clarins’ Everlasting Foundation+ costs £27.50 and is available here.
I feel like the blog has been super makeup-focused this week, but with such gorgeous new releases, can you blame me? I’ve always been super into lip products, so I got more than a little excited to see the new Joli Rouge shades.
Last week I showed you Coral Dahlia, but I think my favourite might just be 23 Rose Petal. It just feels like Spring in a tube – the lipstick is the most gorgeous cool toned pink with a dusting of glitter which is sprinkled through the tube.
If you’re in the mood for a gloss, but you don’t like the sticky textures, this is the product for you! Joli Rouge Brilliant Shine Lipsticks deliver the perfect amount of sheen, but it feels super balm like and nourishing. 23 Rose Petal gives lips the perfect pink tint, and it is really rather glossy too!
Clarins Joli Rouge Brilliant Perfect Shine Sheer Lipstick in 23 Rose Petal costs £19.00 and is available here.
Last week I shared my love for Clarins’ newest offering – the Instant Light Natural Lip Balm Perfectors. Even though I have most of the colours, I don’t believe there is such an idea as too much of a good thing, so I just had to pick up 01 Rose this weekend.
The formulation of the Lip Balm Perfectors is just heavenly. They slick on like a lip balm, but the glossy slick of colour they leave is just perfect for looking far more pulled together than I actually I am. I just love the handbag-ready size, and 01 Rose is just the most beautiful neutral pink. It’s a perfect choice for Spring, and it’s a joy to use for combatting dry lips!

So, along with releasing a whole new line of lip products for Spring 2015, Clarins also introduced two new colours of their staple Jolie Rouge Lipsticks – 22 Coral Dahlia and 23 Rose Petal.
22 Coral Dahlia is a swoon-worthy, perfect Spring lip choice. Like all Joli Rouge lipsticks, it’s formulated to be a wash of sheer colour and shine, and the red-toned coral is just stunning.
In the tube, you can see some micro shimmer, and it really works to make lips look lush rather than being a glitter bomb. The wear time of the lipstick is great too! I got over three hours before I felt I needed to reapply, and at no point did my lips feel dried out. It applies smoothly and evenly, meaning that when touchups are necessary, you don’t need anything more than a quick swipe!
Jolie Rouge in 22 Coral Dahlia is priced at £19.00 and is available here.
Whenever Clarins release a new collection, I get super excited. They usually include a new product, and for Spring, they haven’t disappointed with the release of the new Instant Light Lip Balm Perfectors.
If you’ve used Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfectors, you’re probably as obsessed with them as I am! The new Instant Light Lip Balm Perfectors are a very handbag-friendly version of the cult classics, packaged in a chic little tube. There is a choice of 6 stunning colours (seriously, it’s impossible to choose a favourite) which leave lips with a glossy tint and a hit of moisture. The formulas of the balms is really something special. Like their tube predecessors, they smell delicious and the inclusion of mango and shea butters mean that they deliver on moisture and hydration for lips.
05 Red is probably the most colour saturated of the Lip Balms. It’s a gorgeous pink based red which is perfect if you’re looking to add a little colour into your day-to-day looks. It’s also the perfect ‘starter red’ – the pinky base tones means it is incredibly flattering to all skin tones, and unlike more orange based hues, it makes your teeth look pearly white.
04 Orange looks super pigmented in the tube, but when applied it glides on to be just the most perfect coral. This is just aching to be worn with a golden tan.
06 Rosewood is an absolutely beautiful pink toned nude. This is definitely a HG item for me – it’s a ‘your lips but better’ shade which feels so pretty and polished to wear. I like the fact that I can have a subtle nod to the 90s lip which is so popular now without going full-on Kylie Jenner. The subtle gloss keeps the lip balm from feeling too formal, so it’s a perfect choice for pairing with a slightly more dramatic eye.
03 My Pink is another offering by Clarins which is a completely personal shade. When applied the balm works with your body’s pH balance to create a pink which is completely unique to you! When I slicked the balm on it turned an adorable candy-pink shade which was super cute. When my mother wrestled it out of me, it turned a deeper plum on her. It’s a super fun option, and like the other balms, it stays glossy for upto 4 hours of wear!
Clarins Instant Light Lip Balm Perfectors were released on Monday, are priced at £18.00 each and are available here (UK) and here (US)
