This month is Glossbybox’s fifth birthday, and to celebrate, they’ve released a box filled with subscriber favourites, and if you’re into gorgeous neutrals, this is the box for you! Before even cracking the open, can we discuss the box itself? It’s an adorable monogrammed pink and grey number which is just adorable!

There’s a good mix of makeup, skincare and accessories in this month’s box, and subscribers are able to choose which palette they receive from a choice of four. Since they’re all a good mix of neutrals, you can’t really go wrong!

The first of this month’s goodies is the full size Spa to You facial brush. A mix of soft bristles and silicon rods, the brush is designed to exfoliate skin as well as help foaming cleansers work more effectively. I love a good face brush, and I’ve never tried one with silicon bits in it, but this makes foaming face washes get super lathery and I like to use it about twice a week to keep my skin looking clear.

I was super excited to see the mini bottle of The Cowshed Body Lotion in this month’s box. Every time I’m down in London, I tried to head to the salon’s Notting Hill location, and their products always feel super luxe to use. This one is Wild Cow – an invigorating mix of lemongrass, rosemary and ginger. It’s so lovely and fresh, and leaves skin soft and smooth.

I’m going to assume that the MUS Makeup Academy’s Hall of Fame Palette will be a serious most-loved element of subscribers boxes. Mine contains 12 of MUA’s favourite eyeshadows.

They’re a stunning cool-toned mix of mattes and shimmers, and I have to say, the metallic shades are insane. The pigment for them is seriously comparable to premium shadows in my stash, and they add a perfect sheen to neutral toned eye looks.

I think my favourite part of this month’s box is is the luxury sized tester tube of Mudmasky’s Facial Detox Purifying Recovery Mask. If you’re looking for a Glamglow-esque mask, this is the one for you. It’s pretty lightweight, and smooths on easily and dries quickly. It feels lovely and cleansing to use, and I’m very much a fan!

The last part of this month’s box is a Rae Feather monogrammed beauty bag. If you’re initials are GB you’re in luck! Glossy box state that it’s worth over £20, which feels like an awful lot for a canvas bag. Since my initials aren’t anywhere near the monogram, I’m probably not going to reach for it. Instead of including one in the box, I do wish there had just been a voucher for the store to personalise one with my own monogram.

All in all, though, I thought this month was a really great one for Glossybox – I’m going to be using most of the products seriously regularly!

July 2015 Glossybox*

Glossybox UK July 2015

This month’s Glossybox might just be the prettiest yet! From the gloriously illustrated box to the rather chic goodies tucked inside, Glossybox have completely hit it out of the box!

Glossybox UK July 2015 2

With gorgeous cartoons courtesy of fashion illustrator Jamie Lee Rardin, this month’s box focuses mainly on some great French skincare, with a great little lip balm popped in too!

Glossybox UK July 2015 4

I’ve never come across the brand Teoxane, so I was excited to try their Perfect Skin Refiner which contains mix of AHAs (10% glycolic acid) and hyaluronic acid for glowing skin. I’m currently waiting for my skin to fully heal after a rather unwelcome flare up, so once I’m good to go, I’ll definitely be giving this a try!

Glossybox UK July 2015 3

Noxidoxi is another brand I’m not familiar with, so it was lovely to get a good size tube of their Enhancing Serum Base. It promises to provide complete hydration, whilst tightening pores and providing protection from antioxidants and pollution, which is perfect for heading into the city. The Serum had a light formula which was easily absorbed into skin, so I’m looking forward to giving this a good try!

Glossybox UK July 2015 5

I absolutely adore Vichy skincare, so I was so happy to see an adorable mini glass jar of their incredible Thermal Light Cream. I love how nourishing and soothing it is, and I’m already nearly half way through it!

Glossybox UK July 2015 1

I love when beauty boxes include full size products, so Jelly Pong Pong’s tube of Lip Balm Delicieuse was a welcome addition! It’s quite a light formula for a balm, so it’s perfect if you don’t like sticky or goopy lip products, and it has a super sweet scent – delicieuse indeed!

Glossybox UK July 2015 6

As if all of the goodies weren’t enough, they came tucked inside this adorable little pouch which is adorned with a fab Jamie Lee Rardin illustration. It’s perfect for tucking inside your handbag, or if your traveling it’s great for popping your liquids in.

Glossybox is priced at £10 (+P&P) from www.glossybox.co.uk

Glossybox UK May 2015*

Glossybox May 2015

I can’t believe it’s Glossybox time already! This month seems to be absolutely flying by! For May, Glossybox have presented the theme of ‘Getting Ready for Summer,’ and the little pink box is full of essentials to keep everyone looking and feeling as good as possible as the weather gets better!

May 2015 Glossybox

I think the most interesting product this month has got to be Zerreau’s Towel Off Shampoo. Apparently you don’t need water to wash your hair with this, so I can only imagine how popular this will be with those heading off the music festivals this summer. The little black tube is little enough to pop into an overnight bag, and the foam smells lovely thanks to the apple scent.

Glossybox May 2015 4

I think that Sass’ Perfect Skin Concentrate might just be my personal most reached-for item in this month’s box.

Glossybox May 2015 2

The handy spray bottle promises to prevent ingrown hairs and soothe skin through a formula rich in Salicyclic Acid, Fruit Enzymes and Aloe Vera. Although it’s designed for intimate areas, I just applied it up and down my legs as I always get ingrown hairs after shaving, and it felt lovely and soothing to use. I can’t wait to see if it makes a difference to my skin!

Glossybox May 2015 1

I really liked the inclusion of Etre Belle’s Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel since it was a box designed for heading into summer. Whenever I’m in the sun, I keep a tube of aloe in the fridge to soothe my skin incase of burns. This is a full size tube, so I’m definitely tucking it away for the summer!

Glossybox 2015 May

I loved this month’s pieces of makeup – first up is a fab little lipstick called Tulip from the Collection brand. I’ve never tried anything from the brand before, so this pretty pinky-coral is such a pretty addition to my lipstick collection!

May Glossybox

The lipstick has a lovely silky texture, and gives a good amount of coverage and colour. I’ve been wearing mine with a slick of gloss for some springtime colour!

May Glossybox 2

Last up is Me Me Me’s Enchanted Eyes doubled ended eyeliner in Midnight Storm.

May Glossybox 1

I love this chunky double ended liner which has two different shades of blue liner. One end is a beautiful metallic turquoise whilst the other a sparkly navy.

Glassybox May 3

I love double use products, because I’m always on the lookout to downscale my makeup bag. I’ve seen a couple of articles which recommend blue liners instead of black for a bit of a summer update, so I’m excited to try out a couple of new looks using the pencil!

I loved this month’s Glossybox, and I can’t wait to use the products in the run-up to summer!

Glossyboex are priced at £10 (+P&P) and are available here.

Glossybox August 2014*

Glossybox August 2014 UK

This month marks Glossybox’s 3rd birthday (fun fact: they sell a beauty box every 12 seconds!) – so it’s an extra special box to celebrate!

Glossybox August 2014 UK-2

I know I say this every month, but I just love how Glossyboxes are packaged. The pink boxes are just so pretty, and who doesn’t love unwrapping parcels with ribbons? You can see the special 3rd birthday sticker too!

Glossybox August 2014 UK-3

As you can see, this is a super generous box – a full size cleanser, hand cream and highlighter as well as a travel sized Elasticizer, nail varnish and a tester of perfume are all tucked inside.

Glossybox August 2014 UK-4

The full-size Comfort Zone Cleansing Milk is a great way to start off the box. It’s a very generous 200ml, and it’s a lovely addition to my nighttime cleansing regime. After washing my face with a cleanser, I swipe a little of the milk over my face and neck with a cotton pad to make sure every scrap of makeup is gone. It has a lovely light texture with a gentle floral scent.

Glossybox August 2014 UK-5

It’s been a while since I’ve used Philip Kingsley’s Elasticizer, and I forgot how much I like it! Before shampooing, I wet my hair and apply it to my ends and give it some time to work. When my hair is super dry and sensitized, I take it to the gym and slap a bit on before heading into the steam room. The weird looks are worth it. I’m left with soft hair which is shiny and feels super healthy.

Glossybox August 2014 UK-10

The Figs & Rouge hand cream is such a handbag staple. Mine has a fruity mango and mandarin scent, and it sinks in quickly, leaving my hands feeling silky smooth.

Glossybox August 2014 UK-7

Kryolan has created a special edition highlighter especially for Glossybox in a shade called Cashmere. I love the Glossybox logo on the lid, and it is the prettiest shell pink colour. It’s a great multipurpose product, and can be used on lips, cheeks and eyes. After I’ve applied my foundation and concealer, I like to tap a little across my cheekbones and eyebrow bones for a natural glowy look.

Glossybox August 2014 UK-8

The Yves Rocher nail polish is possibly the cutest, dinkiest bottle I own. The shade is called Rose, and it is a beautiful dusky pink.

Glossybox August 2014 UK-9

(Apologies for the blue nail in shot!) The formula applies smoothly, and I only needed two coats for it to be fully opaque. It’s a great transition colour for fall!

Glossybox August 2014 UK-6

Last up is a tester of Lalique’s L’Amour perfume. If you’re into big, heady florals and are looking for a new autumn scent I would definitely give this a sniff!

Boxes start at £10 plus pp, and you can subscribe here
