Glossybox October 2015 – UK*

Glossybox October 2015 UK contents

Getting my monthly Glossybox always feels like a real treat – from the pretty pink gift box to the surprises tucked inside layers of tissue and packing paper, they are always a joy to delve into! I always think Glossybox strike a great balance between brands and products, and this month is an absolute delight! Rather than the usual mix of deluxe samples with one or two full size products to enjoy, this month’s box is made up entirely of full sized products!

Glossybox October 2015 UK FX Blending Sponge

The product that first caught my eye was the Nicka K Airbrush Blending Sponge. A bright pink, almost egg-shaped sponge, it’s a new take on the ubiquitous beauty blender.

The sponge feels beautifully soft, and I love the tight texture which prevents too much foundation soaking in. The fun shape allows for a super precise application of makeup, and it leaves a flawless finish.

Glossybox October 2015 UK Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes

Jelly Pong Pong have to win the prize for the most adorable packaging around – and their Fairy Lashes Curl Mascara is no different.

Glossybox October 2015 UK Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes 1

Packaged in an adorable burgundy tube, the mascara is black, waterproof, and promises to curl lashes to the perfect flutter.

The formula looks like it’s a perfect thickness, and the bristled brush looks like it will really comb through my lashes – I can’t wait to try it out!

Since my skin gets super dry in colder weather, I was really excited to see the tube of Talika Hydra Day Cream. Despite the cream having a super light, almost gel-like texture, it goes deep into the skin to hydrate and nourish.

Glossybox October 2015 UK So Susan Haute Light

Next up is So Susan’s Haute Light highlighting pencil which promises to give skin lightness and radiance instantly.

Glossybox October 2015 UK So Susan Haute Light 1

The chunky pencil is so pretty with the turquoise and peach logo, I couldn’t wait to try out Haute Light! It’s quite similar to Benefit’s High Brow pencil, so if you’re looking for a lower cost dupe, this is a great option.

I’ve been using the Haute Light pencil mostly around my eyes – it’s a great way to define brows, and a little in the inner corners of my eyes makes me look wide awake!

Glossybox October 2015 UK Lanolips

I think my favourite part of this month’s box is the full sized tube of Lanolips’ Golden Ointment. This is one of those cure-all products which every girl needs in their stash!

Glossybox October 2015 UK Lanolips Golden Ointment

The formula is super rich, and almost sticky to apply, but considering it is 100% natural, consisting of only natural lanolin, manuka honey and Vitamin E, even the most sensitive skins are able to enjoy the Golden Ointment. I tend to use it as a super nourishing lip balm, or I dab a little on my cuticles every evening to heal them and keep them moisturised.

This month’s box was absolutely amazing! You can subscribed to Glossybox for £10+p&p here

Glossybox September 2015*

Glossybox September 2015 UK

I’m always pretty surprised when my Glossybox is delivered – the months just seem to be flying by, so to get the September box through the letter box was an awesome surprise!

Presented as a special ‘Style Edition’ I think this box has to be my favourite ever! From the gorgeous watercolour-esque box to the thoughtfully curated contents, this is the absolute definition of perfection!

Maria Nila Luminous Colour Masque

Maria Nila’s Luminous Colour Masque was the product which first caught my eye – the full size pink tub is absolutely gorgeous, and I’ve been aching to get my hands on some Maria Nila goodies for a while.

Maria Nila Luminous Colour Masque 1

Designed to protect your colour, as well as to rehydrate and strengthen ends, this is one seriously yummy smelling conditioner! Made with 100% vegan ingredients, I love the rich, thick texture of the masque, and I can’t wait to try it out this morning at the gym!

InvisibobblesJPG

The box’s second hair-related offering is a box of pearlised white Invisibobbles. If you’ve read my blog for a while (and I hope you have!) you’ll know that I’m obsessed with these little gems.

White Invisibobbles

They really keep my hair up and tidy without tugging or pulling, and I love the subtle colour. I’m already wearing one!

Marsk Eyeshadow brush

Considering I’m in the middle of buying myself new makeup brushes (a surprisingly pricey endeavour!) I was thrilled to see Marsk’s Eyeshadow Brush Pro.

Marsk Eyeshadow brush 1

The acrylic bristles feel super soft, and they pick up a great amount of colour. This has gone straight into my everyday makeup box!

Bellapierre

The little pot of Bellapierre’s Shimmer Powder is absolutely adorable. The cool toned grey sparkles feel really perfect for the coming Autumn, and I can’t wait to try it out as part of my next smoky eye look!

Bellapierre swatch

Like all Bellapierre cosmetics, it’s a mineral formula, which is just great for sensitive skin!

Nails Inc Battersea Park

Last up, but certainly not least, is a bottle of Nails Inc Battersea Park. One of two available shades (the other is a dusky rose) I am absolutely obsessed with the cool toned khaki shade. It feels super current, and is a great way to wear amplified neutral nails!

Nails Inc Battersea Park swatch

The formula of Battersea Park is absolutely dreamy – thick enough to have full coverage in a single coat, the colour applied smoothly and evenly, and I’ve already lined it up for my next manicure!

As you can probably tell, I’m head over heels for this month’s box. You can subscribe to Glossybox for £10 (+ P&P) here

July 2015 Glossybox*

Glossybox UK July 2015

This month’s Glossybox might just be the prettiest yet! From the gloriously illustrated box to the rather chic goodies tucked inside, Glossybox have completely hit it out of the box!

Glossybox UK July 2015 2

With gorgeous cartoons courtesy of fashion illustrator Jamie Lee Rardin, this month’s box focuses mainly on some great French skincare, with a great little lip balm popped in too!

Glossybox UK July 2015 4

I’ve never come across the brand Teoxane, so I was excited to try their Perfect Skin Refiner which contains mix of AHAs (10% glycolic acid) and hyaluronic acid for glowing skin. I’m currently waiting for my skin to fully heal after a rather unwelcome flare up, so once I’m good to go, I’ll definitely be giving this a try!

Glossybox UK July 2015 3

Noxidoxi is another brand I’m not familiar with, so it was lovely to get a good size tube of their Enhancing Serum Base. It promises to provide complete hydration, whilst tightening pores and providing protection from antioxidants and pollution, which is perfect for heading into the city. The Serum had a light formula which was easily absorbed into skin, so I’m looking forward to giving this a good try!

Glossybox UK July 2015 5

I absolutely adore Vichy skincare, so I was so happy to see an adorable mini glass jar of their incredible Thermal Light Cream. I love how nourishing and soothing it is, and I’m already nearly half way through it!

Glossybox UK July 2015 1

I love when beauty boxes include full size products, so Jelly Pong Pong’s tube of Lip Balm Delicieuse was a welcome addition! It’s quite a light formula for a balm, so it’s perfect if you don’t like sticky or goopy lip products, and it has a super sweet scent – delicieuse indeed!

Glossybox UK July 2015 6

As if all of the goodies weren’t enough, they came tucked inside this adorable little pouch which is adorned with a fab Jamie Lee Rardin illustration. It’s perfect for tucking inside your handbag, or if your traveling it’s great for popping your liquids in.

Glossybox is priced at £10 (+P&P) from www.glossybox.co.uk

Glossybox UK June 2015*

Glossybox June 2015

It’s Glossybox time again! Seriously, I can’t believe it’s time for a new box already! Time is just flying by, and since we’ve hit June, Glossybox have decided to celebrate the start of summer with a festival themed box, complete with 3 full size products and specially designed metallic tattoos!

Glossybox UK June 2015

These Glossybox Flash Tattoos immediately caught my eye, and how could they not! Everyone including Beyonce has been sporting metallic designs, so I was quite excited to give them a try! Unfortunately, I didn’t have the best luck – most of the design I tried out just kind of wiped off, leaving me with a 1/2 inch chunk of polka dots on the inside of my forearm. They then peeled off when I got out of the shower. Maybe it’s just my skin type, but I hope you have more success than I did!

Glossybox UK June 2015 4

Essence’s The Gel nail polish called Electriiiiiic. It’s one of three shades included in this months’ boxes, and it’s a really pretty cobalt blue. It’s a beautiful shade, and it applied evenly and opaquely – it’s definitely going to be a summer pedicure choice!

Glossybox UK June 2015 1

The full-size pack of Halo Facial Wipes is an incredibly convenient addition to my gym bag. I already keep a pack of the brands’ deodorant wipes in there incase I forget anything, so an easy way to cleanse pre and post workout it always needed! The little pack contains 10 wipes, so easily a week-long supply.

Glossybox UK June 2015 2

The full size tube of Kueshi Anticellulite Booster is a great bottle to have in the run up to the summer holidays! Obviously this isn’t exactly Giselle legs in a bottle, but I’m all for smoothing and moisturising skin so that it looks its best. I’ll be smoothing the cream onto my thighs post shower to keep everything as taut as possible.

Glossybox UK June 2015 3

Last but not least is the full-size bottle of Monuspa’s Rosewood Facial Mist. I adore facial mists in the summer – I keep them in the fridge for an easy cool downs when it gets hot and sticky, and nothing feels better when poolside! Monuspa also says the spray can be used for setting makeup too, so a super useful product!

Glossybox are priced at £10 (+P&P) and are available here.

Glossybox UK May 2015*

Glossybox May 2015

I can’t believe it’s Glossybox time already! This month seems to be absolutely flying by! For May, Glossybox have presented the theme of ‘Getting Ready for Summer,’ and the little pink box is full of essentials to keep everyone looking and feeling as good as possible as the weather gets better!

May 2015 Glossybox

I think the most interesting product this month has got to be Zerreau’s Towel Off Shampoo. Apparently you don’t need water to wash your hair with this, so I can only imagine how popular this will be with those heading off the music festivals this summer. The little black tube is little enough to pop into an overnight bag, and the foam smells lovely thanks to the apple scent.

Glossybox May 2015 4

I think that Sass’ Perfect Skin Concentrate might just be my personal most reached-for item in this month’s box.

Glossybox May 2015 2

The handy spray bottle promises to prevent ingrown hairs and soothe skin through a formula rich in Salicyclic Acid, Fruit Enzymes and Aloe Vera. Although it’s designed for intimate areas, I just applied it up and down my legs as I always get ingrown hairs after shaving, and it felt lovely and soothing to use. I can’t wait to see if it makes a difference to my skin!

Glossybox May 2015 1

I really liked the inclusion of Etre Belle’s Aloe Vera Ultra Moisturising Gel since it was a box designed for heading into summer. Whenever I’m in the sun, I keep a tube of aloe in the fridge to soothe my skin incase of burns. This is a full size tube, so I’m definitely tucking it away for the summer!

Glossybox 2015 May

I loved this month’s pieces of makeup – first up is a fab little lipstick called Tulip from the Collection brand. I’ve never tried anything from the brand before, so this pretty pinky-coral is such a pretty addition to my lipstick collection!

May Glossybox

The lipstick has a lovely silky texture, and gives a good amount of coverage and colour. I’ve been wearing mine with a slick of gloss for some springtime colour!

May Glossybox 2

Last up is Me Me Me’s Enchanted Eyes doubled ended eyeliner in Midnight Storm.

May Glossybox 1

I love this chunky double ended liner which has two different shades of blue liner. One end is a beautiful metallic turquoise whilst the other a sparkly navy.

Glassybox May 3

I love double use products, because I’m always on the lookout to downscale my makeup bag. I’ve seen a couple of articles which recommend blue liners instead of black for a bit of a summer update, so I’m excited to try out a couple of new looks using the pencil!

I loved this month’s Glossybox, and I can’t wait to use the products in the run-up to summer!

Glossyboex are priced at £10 (+P&P) and are available here.
