Good Things Manuka Honey Radiance Mask*

For the past couple of years I’ve been really good about keeping up my skin regime. I (almost) never go to bed wearing makeup, I cleanse, I sometimes tone and I moisturise, and twice a week I enjoy a good face mask. Depending on how my skin is feeling I sometimes choose a mud-based mask, and other times gel or hydrating ones. Recently I’ve felt the need for the former, and I’ve been loving Good Things’ Manuka Honey Radiance Face Mask.

From the outset, I should probably admit to being not-a-little obsessed with Manuka. I’ve taken supplements containing it, and if I’m feeling a bit off, I resort to a good old fashion teaspoon of the stuff in a cup of hot water with a large chunk of lemon. But, onto the mask. Since I’ve been feeling the need for a mud version, I thought I would give Good Things a try. The formula is packed-full of ingredients which are incredible for your skin. Manuka has insane antioxidant properties which protect from environmental free radicals, beeswax nourishes and hydrates skin, papaya extract works as an exfoliant allowing the skin to glow, and white clay absorbs the dirt and impurities in skin. It’s a really well thought out set of ingredients, and the results are amazing. After cleansing, I spritzed my face with a mineral water (I use Eau Thermale Avene) then applied a generous layer of the mask. After a couple of minutes I could feel a bit of a tingle, but I get that with most mud masks, and after about half an hour, when everything was dry to the touch I washed everything off with a clean flannel. My skin felt super smooth and soft, and some pesky blackheads had completely vanished!

The mask costs £5.99 and is available here

Good Things Manuka Honey Daily Moisturizer*

Good Things Manuka Honey Daily Moisturizer

Over the past couple of years, I’ve explored the joys of Manuka Honey. I’ve got jars of the stuff in the larder, I have powdered supplements, throat sweets; name it, and I will have probably picked it up at some point whilst exploring the aisles at Whole Foods. Good Things have made my life a whole lot easier with their Manuka Honey Daily Moisturizer. Packaged in a super easy to use (and see) squeezy tube, I honestly can’t believe how amazing the moisturizer is (especially when considering the price!) The formula is rich and creamy, without feel suffocating to apply, and once I pat a little on it sinks in effortlessly. It smells divine – there is definitely a honey scent, but it’s not sickly or sweet and it has a hint of vanilla. The Manuka isn’t the only bee-goodness in the moisturizer – Royal Jelly and Beeswax are also included for their moisturizing properties, and it definitely makes a difference – my skin feels so nourished when I use the moisturizer, and amazingly, I don’t get greasy either!

The moisturizer costs £7.99 and is available from Boots.
