Guerlain Terracotta Joli Teint – 02 Natural Blonde

Guerlain Terracotta Joli Teint

When it comes to bronzers I can be pretty picky. I don’t like anything too brown, too orange or too pink, and Guerlain have produced the most gorgeous solution to my problems with the new Terracotta Joli Teint which are new for summer 2015.

Packaged in the most gorgeous pearlised compact, the Terracotta Joli Teint is available in four colour ways, so that it’s super easy to choose the colour of blush and bronzer duo which best suits your colouring. Since I’m a (highlighted) blonde, I plumped for 02 Natural Blonde which is the perfect combination of medium bronzer and coral blush.

Once you’re inside the palette, you can see the gorgeous imprint in the formula which looks a bit like a sun. It’s a lovely touch, and definitely reminds you that we’re in the middle of the summer! The whole idea behind the the Terracotta Joli Teint powders is to give you a healthy glow, rather than something of a tan.

The powders are super soft, and an absolute joy to work with. I’ve been using mine with a fluffy brush centred on the bronzing section, then I highlight the apples of my cheeks using the blush section. Used alongside my favourite tinted moisturisers, I get a believable back-from-the-beach glow which doesn’t look at all unnatural. I also have to mention the gorgeous scent -the bronzer has been delicately perfumed with bergamot and gardenia, so it really feels special to apply!

Guerlain Terracotta Joli Teint is priced at £35.50 and is available here (UK) and here (US)

This eyeliner is literally life changing; ok, not life changing, but it is pretty great!

Guerlain brings these out every year, and yes, they are expensive, but these things last for months and months. The colour payoff is great – a silky, inky black which rims the waterline really well! The crayon format of the liner means that the line is smooth and soft looking, making it super-easy to create a smoky eye.

Not only do I love the product, but the packing is sublime. I buy these year after year, and the ribbon and decorations change, but they are the most glamorous eyeliner around

The eyeliner is priced at $36 and available at
