This year, I’m definitely going to take care of my hair more carefully. 2015 saw me experiment with a couple of techniques, which led to a whole lot of extra highlights, and my hair is definitely drier and more sensitised than normal. So, in an effort to undo some of last year’s ‘experiments,’ I’ve been turning to New Nordic’s Hair Volume Tablets. The supplements are packed full of extracts from apples which are rich in procyanidins, as well as vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
Promising to nourish and support new hair growth, I’ve been popping a single pill every morning in an effort to get thick, voluminous hair in time for summer. New Nordic claims that the pills have a visible effect within a month, and a couple of weeks in – I can definitely see a difference. My hair seems to be growing faster than normal (my roots are already showing despite having a full head of highlights a couple of weeks ago) and my nails even feel longer and stronger than normal. I’m so happy with the results, and am definitely going to keep up with my routine, so my hair is in tip top condition for the summer!
New Nordic Hair Volume Supplements are priced at £21.74 for 30 tablets and are available here.
Argan oil’s moisturizing properties aren’t anything new. I’ve been using the stuff on my hair for years now loving how it prevents split ends and gives shine. I’ve also been known to slather some of the stuff on knees and elbows when regular lotion just doesn’t do it. Obviously I’m not the only one, Kahina Giving Beauty have created the most gorgeous soap with the oil. View Post
So party-season is approaching, which means having big bouncy hair is a necessity. Whenever I’m in the mood for a little glamour, I’ve been turning to Enrapture’s Heated Rollers. View Post
With a story which sounds like something from a Disney movie – I’ve been wanting to try Rahua hair products for a while.
I’m a sucker for a fun accessory, and hair slides are no different. Whenever I feel the need to update my stash, I usually head to J. Crew’s kids section Crewcuts to see what I can find. View Post
For the past week or so, the weather has been really horrific. It’s more than just some autumn rain – it’s cold, it’s windy and it’s very wet. This means I’m relying more than usual on my trusty straighteners in an effort to keep my hair looking normal. View Post
When it comes to beauty, I’m not going to lie – I’m not the most adventurous sort. I choose brown eyeshadows, pink lip glosses – you get the idea. Bumble & Bumble’s newest offerings however are tempting me out of my conservative hole. Their new hair chalks spray on then wash out in one shampoo – perfect if you’re a scaredy cat like me. The chalks come in four colors: blush (pictured), cobalt, mint and lavender and will be released on November 5th. I’m thinking of this at the bottom of a swingy ponytail or a soft ombre effect on wavy hair. Will you be rocking colour this winter?
I never quite understand the idea that you’re not meant to brush wet hair. View Post
If you’re anything like me, your hair might be the part of you which you treat the worst. Naturally I’m ‘blessed’ with hair which is mousey brown, wavy, and prone to dryness and fuzz – if you see me I’m blonde with straight hair. See the problem? Since I like to wash my hair and style it daily, it’s not too long before my ends start to dry out, and I feel in need for a little TLC. View Post
So it’s the first of October today – completely crazy! I think I’ll join everyone else in the obligatory remarks on how fast the year is going.
I didn’t mean to have two hair-related posts bunched together, but oh well. This treatment oil is really too good not to write about. View Post
