Over the past couple of years, I’ve become rather obsessed with hair ribbons. I just love that they don’t turn your hair into a bumpy mess when you throw it into a ponytail, and I think they look so cute when the match your outfits. Even if I’m just running out for a Starbucks, wearing a co-ordinated hair ribbon makes me feel more pulled together!
When I was doing a little online Christmas shopping, I stubbled across The No Bump Bobble, who make the hair ribbons in a rainbow of shades, and even have ones which are Frozen and One Direction themed!
I chose a selection of brights, with a glittery white one thrown in since it’s Christmas. They arrived in a couple of days, and I am just in love with them! I’ve never seen glittery neon ones before, and the bobbles are just so pretty. Even better, they are super cheap, and the website has every colour and shade you can imagine!
No Bump Bobbles cost from 60p each and are available here.
Without a doubt, Kitsch make some of my favorite hair accessories. I tend to wear my hair up when I’m at home or at the gym, but when it comes to summer, I can’t stand having my hair hanging around when I’m hot. When I’m at the beach or round the pool, I also like to make sure my accessories match my bikini – I figure if you’re only in a couple of triangles of lycra, the more pulled together I look, the better!
If you’re into the whole 90’s grunge look which is super-popular at the moment, I would definitely recommend picking up the Bohemian set. It has a nice mix of colors and patterns, and I love the little birds and flowers!
If you’re more into pastels, The Cat’s Meow pack is the perfect choice! I’m obsessed with the soft, pretty colors, and the little kitties on the pink ribbon are hilarious. Perfect for letting out your inner cat lady!
The Frosted bands are gorgeous if you prefer solid colors. There is a great mix of plain and sparkly bands, and they are thinner than the regular ribbons.
The sparkly ones are just so pretty – they almost look like they’re covered in sugar!
The ribbons are priced from £7.16 and are available here (UK) and here (US)
I’ve been kind of obsessed with ribbon hair ties for a while, and one of my favourite brands has got to be Kitsch – they manage to reinvent ribbons, and they are always ridiculously cute! View Post
