So, when beauty bible Allure favourite, Jane Iredale Longest Lash Mascara popped through the letterbox, I got rather excited. Packaged in a glitzy golden tube, Longest Lash promises the holy trinity: definition, longer looking lashes and build able volume.

Coming with a big, chunky brush, Longest Lash is a great option if you’re a swipe and go kind of a girl. The bristles are close together, so lashes are coated and combed with the super black formula, leaving them lifted, tinted and thickened. The formula itself is quite viscous, so lashes are really amped up, and the inky colour leaves them looking beautifully defined. The results lasted all day for me – there was no smudging or smearing, just great, long lasting wear!
