John Frieda Sheer Blonde Conditioning Treatment*

john frieda sheer blond hair repair treatment

So I got my hair highlighted last week, and although I got a conditioning treatment at the time, I want to keep my hair as strong and as conditioned as possible. That’s why I’ve been turning to John Frieda’s Sheer Blonde Conditioning treatment.

Packaged in a shower-friendly tub, the mask has a great texture for regular use. It’s slightly lighter than other masks I’ve tried, which means I can use it daily, and I love the fresh scent. After shampooing, I squeeze out excess water from my hair and apply a liberal couple of fingers full. It really feels like a premium product, and since it’s so affordable, you can afford to be generous! If I’ve not got anywhere to be, I whack my ends up in a bun (still slicked with the mask) and leave it on for a good 15-20 minutes. When I take it to the gym, I also pop it on before boiling myself in the steam room. Once I rinse everything out, my hair feels super smooth, and blow drying it is an absolute dream. Since I’ve been using it, my hair feels super healthy and strong, and its so shiny too! No more dry and crispy ends for me!

The mask costs £5.99 and is available at Boots

John Frieda Sheer Blonde Go Blonder Shampoo and Conditioner

Getting my hair as blonde as possible has basically been my life’s mission since I was about 11. I coveted my friends’ creamy and golden highlights, and for my 13th birthday, I finally got to lighten my hair. I’ve been blonde ever since. So, with summer fading out, I’m in hair maintenance mode. I always tone my colour down as we move into autumn, but I don’t like my hair getting too dark or dull, and that’s where John Frieda’s Go Blonder Shampoo and Conditioner comes in. I use the duo 2-3 times per week and I’ve noticed that my highlights seem to look fresher and brighter than before thanks to a natural lightening complex in the formula. It’s a great way to stretch the lifespan of highlights out, or if you’re just looking for a mid-week pick-me-up for your hair.

The shampoo and conditioner both cost £5.99 and are available from Boots and US readers can find them here.
