Lancome Juicy Shaker – Show Me the Honey*

Ok, so it’s not exactly news that I’m a big fan of Lancome’s Juicy Shaker lip glosses. When they were released earlier this year, I kind of binged on them – collecting a handful of colours in a few weeks, and honestly, they’re still one of my most used products.

Show Me the Honey is probably the most neutral of my collection (which even contains a blue one) and it’s the perfect shade for everyday use. It’s a sheer, warm toned peach which makes lips look pretty and juicy – and really, what more can you ask for?

Like all Juicy Shakers, Show Me the Honey, has a bi-phase formula which you shake prior to using. Then, using the foam applicator, you just dab the gloss onto lips. It has a moisturizing and super lightweight formula, so it’s perfect if you’re not a fan of a sticky gloss. Instead this just smoothes on, leaving lips feeling hydrated and looking gorgeous!

Lancome’s Juicy Shaker in Show Me the Honey is priced at £18.00 and is available here (UK) and is priced at $21 and is available here (US)

Lancome Juicy Shaker – Boom Meringue

So I guess that it’s fair to say that I’ve developed something of a collection of Lancome Juicy Shakers, because when I popped into Boots a few weeks ago, I just couldn’t resist treating myself to my fourth shade – Boom Meringue.

A beautiful candy pink in the bottle, Boom Meringue is the absolute perfect shade for giving lips a touch of natural looking colour and shine, and I’ve been using it pretty much non stop since I grabbed it! Like all of the Juicy Shakers that I’ve tried, the formula is perfection, it feels like a light oil on the lips – nourishing and not too slippery, and it leaves lips with the perfect amount of subtle sheen. The scent is incredible, it’s a super sweet almost vanilla which manages to not be sickly, and everyone I’ve shown it to loves it! The baby pink colour is just so pretty too! I love it for balancing out a heavier eye makeup look, or if I just want to look naturally polished. My one issue might be that it doesn’t stay on the lips for too long, but when application is as fun as it is with Juicy Shakers, I don’t even mind!

Lancome’s new Boom Meringue Juicy Shaker is priced at £18.00 and is available here (UK) and here (US).

Lancome Juicy Shaker – Mint to Be

Lancome Juicy Shaker Mint to Be

I know I just reviewed the first two Juicy Shakers that I got my hands on a week ago, but the truth is, I’m somewhat addicted to them! The mixture of cute colours and even prettier packaging means they’ve become something of a makeup bag staple! So, when I popped into Boots the other day, I couldn’t resist picking up a third! The limited edition shade Mint To Be.

For someone who’s a nude-lip aficionado like myself, a blue lipgloss might seem a little fashion-forward. But, fear not, even though it looks rather vibrant in the bottle, on the lips, Mint To Be is a pretty, shimmery sheer which gives lips a subtle touch of shine with a sheer formula. The blue just acts to make teeth look whiter and the minty scent is super refreshing.

The formula of the Juicy Shakers is perfect if you hate heavy, sticky or gloopy lip glosses. Applied with the sponge tip, it feels almost water-light, and it just gives lips a feeling of moisture. I’m absolutely in love!

Lancome Juicy Shakers are priced at £18.00 and are available here (UK) and here (US)
