I’ve been doing some serious clearing out recently – I’ve joined the ranks of ebay to get rid of jewelry and clothes, and even my makeup stash has been cleared. I accumulated quite the bag of MAC empties, which meant I was entitled to quite a few free lipsticks! (In case you haven’t heard of the Back-to-Mac scheme, all you have to do is collect 6 empty containers, and return them to your nearest MAC counter, where you can then choose any of the permanent lipsticks to take home with you.)
Since I have a ridiculous number of neutral lipsticks, and because the lipstick was free, I thought I would branch out a little and go for something a little fun. Pink Pearl Pop is described as a frosted mid-tonal pink, and it’s the most gorgeous pink. In the tube it looks like a very pigmented deep pink, but when it’s swatched, it’s the most gorgeous sheer pink. The lipstick has a slight glitter to it, and it has the perfect amount of sheen. I love the way it brightens up my usual makeup. This is a perfect colour for summer!
The lipstick is priced at £14
When I was getting ready this morning, I couldn’t help but think how pretty and Spring-like all the products I was using were! I’ve featured the products before, but don’t they just look gorgeous?
The Aerin Kaleidolight Palette has become an absolute favourite – I use a mini kabuki brush for the rosy blush, then swirl on the rest of the powders once I’ve done my makeup for a healthy glow. You can read my full review here.
I’ve also been adoring my Aerin Rose Balm Lipsticks – they have a sheer wash of colour, and feel so hydrating to apply. You can read my full review here.
For a light floral scent which is perfect for the weather at the moment, a quick spritz of Modern Muse keeps me smelling amazing all day. I’ve reviewed it here.
I’ve been loving a little flash of pastel colors, and Kitsch Headbands have been my go-to – I’m completely in love with how pretty they are, and they don’t give me headaches either! Win win!
It’s not news that I like a nude lipstick – approximately 95% of the lipsticks I own are varying shades of beige, and my new Giorgio Armani offering is no different. View Post
