If you’re planning on travelling soon, or if you don’t like hoarding a million and one bottles of product in the shower, you need to get down to Lush and grab a few of their Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub Bars. They’ve quickly become something of a cult item in my house, and they are seriously oh-my-god amazing!

First off, I’m obsessed with the fact they they come in dinky little package-free squares which you can just pop into your suitcase or shower depending on where you are! Since I’m manically trying to get my skin summer-ready I went hard-core and brushed the bar upwards on dry skin. It’s surprisingly gentle on skin for something that’s such a great exfoliant, and I love the fact that it feels like it’s nourishing the skin as well as sloughing it off. The feel is down to the mix of sea salt to buff and Cupuacu Butter which are all natural, and are formulated to leave skin feeling incredibly soft.

I’m also absolutely in love with the scent of the Rub Rub Rub body scrub. Lush have included a mix of Jasmine and Orange Flower for their uplifting qualities. It smells amazing, clean, and almost baby powder like, and it has to be the easiest way to exfoliate I’ve come across!

Lush’s Rub Rub Rub Body Scrub is priced at £5.95 and is available here.

Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel*

Lush Rose Jame Shower Gel

Since the weather has taken a serious turn for the worst, I’ve been spending my evenings hiding out in the bathroom, indulging my love for luxuriously long baths and showers. One of my new go-to products has been Lush’s iconic Rose Jam shower gel. It’s one of those products that people just rave about, so of course, I just had to try it!

Lush Rose Jam Shower Gel

Packaged Lush’s signature shower gel bottle, Rose Jam is part of Lush’s limited edition Winter Collection, and if you search for it online, you’ll see it’s got something of a cult following! The bright pink formula is just the most heavenly consistency – a rich gel which feels so special to use, and the scent is just divine! At first you get a huge whoosh of rose, it’s a big, bold floral, and then, as you lather up, the Sicilian Lemon Oil and Geranium Oil become more noticeable. It’s these notes which give the gel a fruitier edge.

Lush’s Rose Jam Shower Gel is priced at £4.95 for 100ml and is available here.

Lush Lord of Misrule Shower Cream*

Happy Halloween! Today has to be one of my favourite holidays – I’ve carved a ridiculous number of pumpkins, there are all sorts of decorations up, and I’ve made a whole host of pinterest-worthy recipes which look like everything from witches fingers to frogs! So, to keep today suitable spooky, I just had to get a hold of Lush’s gorgeous Lord of Misrule Shower Cream. A part of Lush’s autumn/halloween collection, it is just the most perfect product to use tonight!

Lush Lord of Misrule Shower Cream

A rich green formula, Lord of Misrule has been shot through with a pearl-like lustre which leaves skin with a lovely healthy looking sheen. The scent of the shower cream is super delicious too! A luxurious mix of patchouli, vanilla and black pepper oil, The Lord of Misrule is really something special! It smells quite similar to Thierry Mugler’s Angel, so if you love rich, heady scents, you really must try the shower cream out! I am absolutely in love with the rich lather and the way it delicately scents my skin for hours after I shower. The fact that it’s a shower cream, rather than a regular gel, means that it’s super moisturising for dried out winter skin. It’s such a glorious treat to enjoy!

Lush Lord of Misrule Shower Cream is priced from £4.95 and is available here

Lush Snowman Kit*

I know I’m not the only one that gets somewhat obsessed with Lush’s holiday offerings. I’ve bought gallons of the Snow Fairy shower gel over the years, and this year, I’ve become somewhat infatuated with the Snowman Kit.

The kit contains three colours of bubble bar (white, black and orange) and you can sculpt away to your hearts content. It’s actually ridiculously fun, and it’s perfect if your get bored during bubble baths. Since the bubble bars have a slight tendency to crumble, this probably isn’t a shower-staple, but I could literally spend hours creating little characters. The scent of the snowman is absolutely divine – rather than a typical winter-y spice or peppermint, Lush have plumped for a mix of Bergamot and Sicilian Lemon essential oils which smells so gorgeously light and fresh. What I’m even more impressed by is the kit’s multi use – you can use it as soap, crumbed into a bath as a bubble bar and even as shampoo, although I would be careful using the coloured portions on hair, as the dye does tend to get everywhere.

The Snowman Kit costs £5.00 and is available here

Lush Fairy Ring Soap*

DSC08970

Lush’s Fairy Ring soap is part of the Halloween collection, and may just be inspired by the most unusual ingredient I’ve come across – mushrooms!

When the soap is whole, it looks like an adorable toadstool, and the soap is cut off in slices, meaning they are all individual (and super adorable). I think mine got glitter on it in the box, so if you’re sparkle averse, don’t worry! The inclusion of shiitake mushrooms in the soap is all kinds of genius – they’re known for possessing anti-bacterial properties, and are thought to promote blood circulation, so this is a perfect addition to your morning shower routine! The soap feels pleasingly chunky in the hand, and it is 100% palm free and like all of Lush’s goods, it hasn’t been tested on animals. I’m obsessed by the fresh, floral fragrance too! There isn’t a hint of the formula’s shiitake, but instead all I can smell is gorgeous Jasmine, Vertivert and Ylang Ylang. I’m kind of obsessed with the scent, and it leaves a faint trace which I can pick up on well into the afternoon.

The soap costs £4.10 for 100g and can be found here.
