I hope you don’t feel like I’m flooding you with ModelsOwn swatches, but the new Twilight collection is just so pretty, it would be criminal not to share! Storm is definitely one of the most stand-out shades from the release. It’s a light taupe-grey shade which is an almost dupe for Chanel’s iconic Frenzy. On the nails it’s a beautiful dusty neutral which looks and feels super expensive! Like the other shades I’ve tried, the ModelsOwn HyperGel formula is absolutely dreamy to use! It’s a little thicker than some polishes, but it results in a really smooth, opaque colour which dries to a high shine! For £4.99 it’s a complete bargain!
If I could only wear one colour group on my nails forever, I think it would be a rich burgundy colour. I think they’re just so chic, and they always look incredible despite my nails refusal to grow.
ModelsOwn have created an absolute winner in the form of the new Logan Berry. It’s a really beautiful cool toned burgundy red, which is so flattering with my cool skin tone. If you’re looking for a subtle way to inject a little colour into your winter wardrobe, this is your answer!
Like all HyperGel polishes I’ve tried, Logan Berry applies super smoothly, and I got a full and even coverage in two coats. The colour itself is incredibly beautiful – it’s a rich burgundy which looks incredibly expensive, as well as perfectly festive!
ModelsOwn HyperGel Polishes are priced at £4.99 and are available here
Wearing dark nails in the winter feels like such a no brainer for me. Since I can’t really deal with having long talons, I think inky shades look really beautiful on my shorter nails, and there is something that feels so wonderful about having a beautifully dark and shiny manicure.
Even though I have something of a wardrobe of dark polishes, I’ve not had anything close to ModelsOwn’s stunning Teal shade. It’s a stunning shade that falls between a blackened green and blue depending upon the light, and it just feels so unusual!
The HyperGel formula is an absolute dream to apply – 2 smooth and even coats left me with nails that were completely opaque and I am just in love with the colour!
ModelsOwn HyperGel in Teal is priced at £4.99 and is available here
I feel like I’ve been absolutely spoiled for choice recently with all of the new nail varnishes which have been released for autumn and winter, so I’ve been keeping up with my manicures, purely as an excuse to try them all! One of the stand-out shades has got to be Marsala which is part of ModelsOwn’s new Twilight Collection.
Although the polish looks rather red in the bottle, on the nail it’s a beautiful deep ruby which just touches on burgundy in certain lights. Since it’s a HyperGel polish, it has quite a thick formula, meaning you can almost get away with only using a single coat. The colour itself is beautifully creamy, and feels rather chic to wear! Coupled with the winning formula, this is a polish which feels way more expensive than it is, and who doesn’t love that!? The wear time is awesome too – I have had three days of wear without chipping, wear or peeling.
ModelsOwn HyperGel Marsala is priced at £4.99 and is available here
Brand new for Autumn, ModelsOwn have just released 13 brand new shades as part of their Twilight collection. I was kindly sent over seven of them, so I thought I would share a quick sneak peek before I upload all of my reviews of the individual colours. The collection is filled with really beautiful dusky, almost muted colours, and my favourites so far, have to be Jet Black and Marsala
