Jason Daily Care: Biotin Restorative Shampoo and Conditioner*

Jason Restorative Biotin Shampoo and Conditioner

Since I was and style my hair on a daily basis (not to mention highlighting it) I’m always looking for new ways to give it strength and keep it healthy. My newest find has the vitamin biotin in it – widely thought of as the miracle hair vitamin. I’ve only ever seen biotin available as capsules, so getting all the benefits when I’m washing my hair really appealed to my lazy side!

The bottles are a super generous 473ml so I’m going to get to enjoy the duo for a while. Basically, I use the duo like I would any shampoo and conditioner, but I have to say, despite the formula containing no sulfates it suds up beautifully. Once I blow dry my hair it feels soft and smooth and is lovely and shiny. Since I’ve been using the two of these, I do feel like my hair is stronger. My ends feel less parched, and my hair feels like its super healthy!

The shampoo and conditioner cost £6.49 each and are available at Whole Foods and US readers can find it here

Argan+ Colour Care Shampoo and Conditioner*

Argan 5 Shampoo and Conditioner

If you’re anything like me, you could be a whole lot kinder to your hair! Mine is bleached, I wash it everyday and I straighten it – I know it’s super harmful, but I suit blonde hair way more than I do brunette, and if I don’t heat style it, I’m left with flat, weirdly fuzzy locks – so there’s not a hope that I’m going to abandon my trusty routine. To try and undo some of the harm I inflict, I usually slather my hair in oil every evening. It’s not attractive, and it means I can’t sleep on my expensive bedding, but it keeps everything soft and shiny.

Recently though, I’ve not been needing to get greasy every night, thanks to the magic of Argan+ Colour Care’s shampoo and conditioner. The duo is absolutely perfect for me – since my hair is coloured, the shampoo is gentle enough to use on a daily basis, without it stripping my hair. Thankfully, as well as being super gentle, it manages to fully cleanse my hair, leaving everything clean and shiny. Once I’ve shampooed, I followed with a slug of the conditioner. I love the weight of it – it feels so nourishing, but thankfully it doesn’t weigh my hair down either! Since I’ve been using this, my hair feels so soft and shiny, and since there is Argan oil in the formula, I don’t need to apply so much every evening! The best part? That I can grab them when I’m picking my my groceries in Waitrose!

They cost £5.99 each and are available at Waitrose.

For the past week or so, the weather has been really horrific. It’s more than just some autumn rain – it’s cold, it’s windy and it’s very wet. This means I’m relying more than usual on my trusty straighteners in an effort to keep my hair looking normal. View Post
