Sisley So Curl Mascara*

Sisley So Curel Mascara review

Sisley is one of those brands you can’t help but adore. They’re unapologetically luxurious, and they produce both makeup and beauty products which have to be tried to be believed. Their face creams are among my holy grail items, and their Phyto Lip Twist hasn’t left my handbag since I received it! So, you can imagine how keen I was when I heard that they were releasing a brand new mascara – the So Curl.

Sisley So Curl Mascara

Packaged is a super chic, glossy black tube, Sisley’s So Curl promises to provide lashes with curl and instant volume as well as really caring for lashes. Unlike most mascaras, which just promise incredible definition until it comes time to cleanse, with continued wear, Sisley’s offering makes eyelashes appear thicker and fuller, appear stronger and more beautiful thanks to the inclusion of incredible ingredients such as Pro-vitamin B5, Rice Phytoceramides, Castor Oil, and Passionflower extract.

It’s this attention to detail in the formula which really sets Sisley apart from it’s competitors. The mascara isn’t just amazing for making lashes look seriously great, but it’s almost like a beauty treat for them too! I have to say, I haven’t so much as looked at another mascara since this one arrived as it does everything and more than you can imagine!

The So Curl mascara makes lashes look super black, and incredibly long and full. I don’t even need to look at my eyelash curlers, the So Curl gives them the perfect amount of definition and curl too! As you can probably tell, I’m absolutely in love with Sisley’s newest product! It’s a real Holy Grail product, and it comes in three colours (black, brown, and navy) so if you’re looking for a little eye-update, run, don’t walk to your nearest Sisley counter!

Sisley Phyto Khol Star – Black Diamond

Sisley Phyto-Khol Glittering Eyeliner Black Diamond

Sisley is one of those brands I’ve fallen deeply in love with all too quickly. Everything I’ve tried, from their skincare to makeup ends up being holy grail material, and the fact that the products are always so chic and luxurious means I end up loving them even more.

Sisley Phyto-Khol Glittering Eyeliner Black Diamond 3

Case in point is the Sisley Phyto Khol Star in Black Diamond. It’s a long name for an eyeliner, but rather than your typical liner, which leaves eyes black and defined, Sisley’s offering is a glittering liner. It sounds as if it would be odd looking, or something too flashy to wear day-in-day-out, but in fact, I’m on to my second Phyto Khol Star in Black Diamond, and tend to reach for it daily.

The formula is a creamy hit of the blackest black, and it’s shot through with subtle silver glitter, which rather than turning your eyes into glitter-bombs, just gently glints and glistens. It’s the perfect way to add a little something if you feel like your makeup has been a little samey, the khol is a beautifully subtle way of changing it up. I wear mine daily, and rather than looking ott or sparkly, the silver just brightens up my eyes, making them look bigger and me more awake.

The formula of the liner itself is heavenly. I can get away with using a single swipe and I still get an insane amount of colour. Even though I wear my liner on my upper waterline, Sisley’s Phyto Khol Star doesn’t smudge or fade away during the day, so I thankfully don’t need to touch up or worry about it at all!

Sisley Phyto Khol Star is priced at £33.50 and is available here

Sisley Phyto Eye Twist -4 Steel*

Sisley Phyto Twists are quickly becoming some of my most used makeup products. The combination of perfect, easy to wear colours, winning formulas and super simple packaging is just too tempting, meaning I reach for them almost daily!

One of my newest additions is the Sisley Phyto Eye Twist in Steel. Packaged in the brand’s signature eye catching zebra print, I can’t tell you how easy these are to find in my makeup bag! The crayon itself feels pleasingly chunky in the hand, and the pointed nib means it’s easy to control how I use the Eye Twist.

On a day-to-day basis, I’ve been using the crayon as a liner. The dark grey colour of Steel gives the perfect amount of definition for a casual look, when swiped in my waterline. For days when I want my eyes to have a little more ‘pop,’ the Phyto Twist makes it so easy. A few swipes of the crayon above my lash line and on my lid, easily smudge into a flattering smoky grey, which looks like I’ve put in some serious effort. The formula feels creamy to apply, but once it’s on, it stays put all evening! I love the cool toned colour, and the subtle shimmer just feels so sophisticated!

Sisley Phyto Eye Twist is currently priced at £26.10 and is available here (UK) and here (US)

Sisley Phyto Blush Eclat – Pinky Coral*

Sisley Phyto-Blush Eclat - 5 Pinky Coral

Before I even get started I feel like I should say a huge Happy Thanksgiving to everyone in the US! I hope you’re all suitably feasting on turkey and stuffing, safe in the knowledge I’m rather jealous (and may already have enjoyed a little too much eggnog!) So, even though Thanksgiving isn’t any sort of a holiday here in Scotland, I thought I would share one of my most treasured and indulgent loves today – Sisley’s Phyto Blush Eclat in 05 Pinky Coral.

Packaged in the most eye-catching of compacts, the blush is just a study in luxury from start to finish, and, if you’re like me, and you feel like you need a little ‘pick-me-up,’ this is just perfection!

Sisley Phyto-Blush Eclat - 5 Pinky Coral 5

The blush itself is a mixture of two of the most beautiful pinks you can imagine – one is a soft rose, whilst the other is a warmer coral. It’s really the stuff dreams are made of, and, when swirled onto the apples of my cheeks, it gives the perfect flush.

Thanks to the incredibly finely milled texture, the blush never veers into the powdery territory, and instead it just illuminates the skin. As you would expect from such a skincare-focused brand like Sisley, the Phyto Blush doesn’t just give you a lovely flush! The powder is enriched with Woodmallow, Gardenia, and Linden blossom which soothe and protect the skin – an absolute must for the dropping temperatures.

The use of two colours within the single blush means that it’s incredibly easy to personalise the colour depending on your mood. On days where I want a perky, fresh-faced look, I rely more on the coral powder, whilst if I need a sleeker, more neutral colour, I go for the rose shade. Most days though, I tend to just swirl my blush brush over the entire compact for a flattering wash of colour.

As you can probably tell, I am just in love with the blusher! It’s such a perfect product!

Sisley Phyto-Poudre Libre Loose Face Powder*

Sisley Phyto-Poudre Libre loose face powder

Over the past year or so, I’ve developed quite the addiction to Sisley. It’s a brand which never fails to mix incredible products, be it skincare or makeup, with super slick packaging, so when I heard about the brand’s new Phyto-Poudre Libre I just knew I wanted to get my hands on it.

If I’m honest, loose powder isn’t a product which I tend to use on a daily basis. Instead I tend to reach for it on special occasions or days where I know I need serious staying power for my makeup. Happily though, getting to try out Sisley’s newest product has been an absolute dream!

Sisley Phyto-Poudre Libre loose face powder 4

Packaged in a beautifully minimalist jar, complete with snap top lid, the Phyto-Poudre Libre has been a mainstay on my dressing table for the past couple of weeks. Sisley promise that the powder will give skin ‘incomparable radiance’ and the texture is almost imperceptible when it’s on the skin.

Although the Phyto-Poudre Libre comes complete with a Sisley branded puff, I prefer to apply the powder with a large fluffy brush. After applying my usual tinted moisturiser, concealer and bronzer, I sweep a little of the loose powder over my nose, cheekbones and forehead.

Unlike a lot of the loose powders I’ve tried, Sisley’s Phyto-Poudre Libre has to be my favourite. It’s incredibly lightweight, and incredibly, the formula is hydrating for skin thanks to the inclusion of Hibiscus flower extract, Linden Blossom extract and Mallow extract.

Whenever I’m wearing the Phyto-Poudre Libre, my skin looks and feels velvety soft, and it seriously increases the longevity of my makeup! Touch-ups feel like something of the past with this powder – it’s something of a miracle worker!

Sisley Phyto-Poudre Libre is available in a selection of four shades and is priced at £55.00. You can buy it here (UK) and here (US)
