Having a rather luxurious pot of night cream on my bedside table feels all very adult and grown up, and I’ve been absolutely loving Skin Design London’s rather opulent offering – Sleeping Beauty night cream.
Packaged in an absolutely gorgeous black and acetate pot, Sleeping Beauty promises to restore hydration and regain suppleness in skin, and basically make it look like you’ve had a rather good night’s rest. I love the genius in the simplicity, and the rich cream is absolutely packed with great-for-skin ingredients such as Jojoba Oil, Collagen, Green, Red and White Tea, Acai Berry, Rosehip Oil, Avocado Oil, Omega 3, 6, 9 & Vitamin E & C.
The Sleeping Beauty cream has a decadently rich texture, and can be used as either a night cream, or, if your skin is in need of a little pampering, a moisture mask. Since my skin is both dry and sensitive, I’ve been using the cream every 3-4 nights and letting it sink in overnight. I love the gentle fragrance which feels fresh rather than overpowering, and it feels incredibly nourishing to apply. After cleansing, a warm a little of the moisturiser in my fingers, then gently press it into my skin, paying close attention to areas such as my eyes, or wherever is feeling a bit dry and tired. My skin absolutely drinks up the formula, and in the morning I wake up with skin which feels soft and soothed, as well as incredibly nourished.
