Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup – 0.5*

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation 0.5

Before I launch into my diatribe about how awesome the new(ish) Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup is (and it really is!) I feel I should apologise for my absence over the past couple of days. I ended up staying with friends longer than anticipated, so my queued posts puttered out, and I’ve only just had a minute to sit down and actually type! So, oops aside, I wanted to share the greatness which is Urban Decay’s Naked Liquid Foundation.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation 0.5 1

Available in a range of 18 shades which encompass light, dark, cool and warm skin tones, Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup is basically everything you could wish for in a base. Since I’m an NW20 skin tone, I opted for 0.5 which is the lightest shade in the range and falls as a cool tone (shades ending in .5 are cool, whilst full numbers are warm). This wide variety means that most people are going to find a perfect match for their skin, although those who are super pale might struggle a little.

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Foundation 0.5 review

The texture of the formula is silky smooth, and Naked Skin completely disappears into skin, making it look naturally perfect. Since I don’t like my foundations too heavy, I blend two pumps of the foundation whilst my foundation hasn’t completely sunk in to give a lovely dewy finish. The wear-time for the foundation is really great – after application, I easily get 10+ hours of wear before I need to touch up, and there isn’t any drying, caking or oxidising. As well as creating the perfect canvas for the rest of your makeup look, Urban Decay have included some serious skincare in the formula including Litchiderm to the skin from dehydration, oxidative stress and accelerated ageing, Green Tea & Vitamin E to neutralize free-radicals and promote collagen production, as well as Sodium Hyaluronate which holds and attracts water for optimal hydration, circulation and nutrient absorption. The foundation has obviously been really well thought out – it doesn’t only look good, but it’s also great for your skin too – win win!

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup is priced at £27.00 and is available here (UK) and here (US)

I’m absolutely loving Urban Decay’s expansion of their Naked Collection. I’m not sure that I’ve some across anyone that doesn’t absolutely adore their eyeshadow palettes, whilst the lip glosses have been in constant rotation in my handbag.

Urban Decay’s newest foundation offering is their Naked Skin Ultra Definition Powder Foundation, and even though it’s quite the name, the formulation is incredible!

Urban Decay Naked Powder Foundation 1

I know that powder foundations can sometimes feel a little daunting to use, but this one just leaves skin looking perfectly even rather than cakey or powdery.

The foundation comes packaged in a fabulously glamorous bronze compact, complete with purple carry case, and it looks as pretty on my dressing table as it does slipped into my bag when I need it for touchups!

The inside is incredibly well thought out too, with a large mirror and double sided applicator sponge. One side of the sponge is smooth, whilst the other other feels ‘fluffier’ meaning it’s incredibly easy to control the amount of coverage you need and use.

Urban Decay’s Naked Ultra Definition Powder Foundation comes in a range of 14 shades which span from the palest porcelain to super deep, so if your skin tone is hard to match, you should definitely try the range out! I’m obsessed with how smooth and flawless the foundation makes my skin look. Rather than looking too made up, a quick swipe of a damp sponge with the foundation gives the perfect amount of natural looking coverage. All my redness completely disappears, and I can even skip my under eye concealer! I’m also in love with how long-wearing the foundation is too – I apply it after moisturising in the morning, and it’s still fresh-looking well into the afternoon.

Urban Decay’s Naked Ultra Definition Powder Foundation costs £26.00 and is available here (UK) and here (US)
