I’m sure like many people, I’m a devoted follower of Urban Decay’s NAKED range. I have three out of the four palettes, and a handful of the lip glosses, but I had no idea that there was a lipstick available in the shade.
I’ve always been big on lip products, and Urban Decay’s Revolution Lipsticks are absolute winners for me. The mirrored packaging is so glamorous tucked into my makeup bag, and the formula of the lipstick is the perfect mix of creamy and balmy.
Naked is an absolutely stunning pinky-nude shade which is a complete work horse of a lipstick. It’s the perfect shade for day when I want a subtle, natural look thanks to the flattering pink tones. I usually just slick the lipstick on direct from the tube, and I just love the subtle sheen and flattering wash of colour.
I’ve also found that the Naked Revolution Lipstick is the perfect choice for evenings when I’m wearing a bolder eye look. No matter how many lashes I apply and how much liner and shadow I slick on, Naked never looks like it’s trying to compete. Instead, it feels like a polished, sophisticated choice which never veers into the dreaded ‘corpse lips’ territory which is always a worry when rocking a nude lip.
Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in Naked is priced at £15.50 and is available here (UK) and here (US)
