Vichy Purete Thermale Waterproof Eye Make-up Remover for Sensitive Eyes*

Vichy Purete Thermale Waterproof eye Makeup Remove 1

Despite my love for false eyelashes, liners, shadows and mascaras, I have pretty sensitive eyes. They get hot and runny if it’s cold, if it’s rainy – basically all the time, so when it comes to eye makeup removers, I have to be super careful!

Vichy Puree Thermale Waterproof eye Makeup Remover

Vichy’s new Purete Thermale Waterproof Eye Make-Up Remover has been an absolute lifesaver for me. The dual formula completely dissolves even my most dramatic makeup looks without any stinging or burning. Instead, the cleanser feels cooling and nourishing on the eyes. To use it, I simply shake up the bottle then squeeze a little onto a cotton round. I then press the cotton onto my eyes for a couple of seconds and wipe off. Vichy completely eradicates any sign of makeup, meaning that after a quick swipe, my eyes are completely clean, and they feel very soothed – perfect!

Vichy Ideal Soleil Hydrating Milk SPF 50*

Vichy Ideal Soleil SPF 50

Even though it might not feel like it today (thanks to lashings of rain and rather low temperatures) we’re still grasping onto the last legs of summer, so I’ve been keeping a tube of Vichy Ideal Soleil SPF50 handy for whenever the sun decides to peak out.

Vichy Ideal Soleil SPF 50 1

For someone with sensitive skin like mine, Vichy’s Ideal Soleil is the perfect answer for sun protection. Where some lotions can feel too thick, or give me hives, Vichy’s offering feels like a light body lotion to apply. You only ned a quick squirt to cover limbs in the sunscreen, and I love the light fresh fragrance. It immediately sinks into skin, and doesn’t leave me feeling dry or weirdly sticky. Instead, my skin feels soft, smooth and moisturised, and it is left with a lovely sheen. Since the SPF50 is quite high, I don’t feel the need to reapply every two minutes, instead I can enjoy a few hours out in the sunshine, without worrying about waking up lobster red tomorrow!

Vichy Ideal Soleil is priced at £16.50 and is available here.

Vichy Ideal Soleil Dry Oil SPF50*

I don’t think I ever realised how very important sunscreen is until I lived in Dubai. The difference in skin between sun worshippers and those who darted in and out of the shade was startling, and I pretty much instantaneously decided that perfecting my tan shouldn’t be at the top of my priorities. Don’t get me wrong, I love a light golden glow, but anything deeper makes me feel a little anxious.

Thankfully, Vichy have made getting a little sun super easy with their Ideal Soleil Dry Oil in SPF50. As a rule, I only use oil sunscreens on my legs and arms, and I love that Vichy’s offering comes in a spray bottle which makes getting to hard to reach spots a piece of cake! You only need a couple of spritzes of the lightly floral fragranced oil per limb, and it easily soaks into skin leaving a lovely dewy glow. I love the fact that it’s SPF50 too – it means I can apply it in the morning and not really worry about it for an hour or two before I need to top up!

Vichy Ideal Soleil Dry Oil is currently on offer in Boots for £12.37 (was £16.50) and similar here (US)

Vichy Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil*

Vichy Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil

It’s not often you find a completely new product in the beauty aisles, but Vichy have pulled it out of the bag with their new Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil which has become my morning cleanser. Packaged in an easy to use pump bottle, I use two pumps of the formula which I massage into my skin in the AM and then swipe off using a cotton pad.

On the skin, Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil feels light and refreshing, and I love the almost aquatic scent. It’s a great option as a summer cleanser, as it leaves skin feeling nourished. It completely dissolves any trace of makeup and mascara, and doesn’t leave skin feeling greasy. Instead, my skin feels calmed and prepped for my makeup application.

Vichy Beautifying Cleansing Micellar Oil is priced at £13.75 and is available here
